I don't know if the lodge is operating, but the locality is great for sleds, ski lessons for kids, picnic and hiking. There is a magic carpet and small ski lift.

The trick is to bring a sizeable group in here, get some shkembe or bean soup, maybe some drinks, and have a jolly time in between watching your kids ski or hiking around the mountain

Great place for winter sports, and especially for kids and toddlers. There's also ski school for kids. The food in the hut was spectacular! I highly recommend the tripe soup, chicken soup and grilled meatballs. Lovely place overall.

Wonderful place to visit in the weekend. Especially nice for people with kids. Not so nice for someone who is looking peace and solitude, but many peaceful places can be found around.

Great place in the Vitosha mountain to relax, have some food and sleep. Not luxurious, but very decent. Nice people work there, pleasure to talk to them.

Heated hut, delicious meal, nice attitude from the host and One Rock Radio. Can you ask for more?
