Old nessebar is a must visit spot! It was absolutely stunning with gorgeous restaurants, small markets and lovely people. It is full of history and a beautiful beach, this was one of my favourite day trips when travelling to Bulgaria!

Nessebar is a beautiful Bulgarian city on the coast of the Black Sea. It has an interesting history and wonderful beaches. This is church one of 26 ancient churches in the small town left over from the past.

Very nice architectural work - an Orthodox church in the middle of the historic city, around which there are beautiful flower gardens.

Church of Christ Pantocrator (Bulgarian: църква Христос Пантократор) is a medieval Eastern Orthodox church, established in the 13th or 14th century. This building is one of Bulgaria's best preserved churches from the Middle Ages. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I recommend visiting the old town in the morning. It's beautiful!

Another must see place in Nessebar

The church is one of the best preserved examples of late Byzantine architecture in the world. And of course there is going to be an entry fee - it is a museum, not a religious building. Also there is an interesting cartography exhibition inside!

A great place to visit. Also a good setting for photos. A reach historical place, the old town of Nessebar, is a great place to visit when exploring the Bulgarian coast line.

The church is part of the local museum tour, the architecture is wonderful, the park outside is great to take a break, and the inside has a great cartography museum, very interesting.

The church is lovely, we even got to see something special thanks to the curator. We also enjoyed the exhibition of old maps.
