Старият кестен (Stariat Kesten) Restaurant

This is the second time we have visited and again it didn't disappoint.
Friendly welcome, prompt service and really tasty food. We had Halloumi salad and goats cheese with honey and walnuts for a starter followed by pork loin and pork with mushrooms. All the food was very tasty with very tender meat. This was all accompanied by cold draught beer. There is an extensive menu and this is one of several side by side restaurants so you should find something to your liking. Recommended

Friendly, family run restaurant incorporating holiday apartments. Fantastic kids portions, and visually inventive for kids. Burgers, chicken nuggets etc and large, well presented ice cream for very reasonable price. Management speak good English, very welcoming and helpful. Traditional Bulgarian main menu available which the kids also tried and liked.

Myself and my partner are vegan - they provided adjusted - fresh cooked meals, by simply making the main and leaving the meat out of the process. They did this for anything we wanted and even for takeaway on the first night I found them.

The restaurant is large, clean toilets too. Waiting staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. There is an outside dining area - not in direct sunlight but under cover of grape vines. Please remember smoking is allowed inside and out in Bulgaria. We are a family of 6, easily accommodated here and tables to fit 12 easily before joining more is necessary.

Visited 4 times in total, happy every time and would certainly visit again. Please visit!

Good food at low price at ideal location. Terras at the front with street view and attractive large terras in the shade for hot days. Just 150 meter from the main entrance to the South Beach. Became my favourable place. Extensive menu; also vegetarian.

Lovely, tasty, fresh food. Loved it all, from starters to main courses and desert. We are vegetarians and had lots of options. Friendly staff, cosy place. We'll come back!

Отличный ресторан болгарской кухни. Большие порции, а главное вкусно. Цены не кусаются.
Очень вкусный шашлык.
Есть места на улице/терассе для курящих, и территории внутри-для некурящих.
Меню подробно расписано на трех языках,с картинками-не отличаются от подачи в ресторане.

Уютное место, обслуживают молниеносно. Традиционная болгарская кухня, много овощей и мяса, порции щедрые, цены низкие. Рекомендую.

Trip Adviser sąraše buvo kažkur 20-uke, bet norėjau palyginti kainas Nesebaro naujamiestyje su senamiesčiu ir nuėjome čia. Vieta paliko geriausią įspūdį pagal maisto kokybę ir gal vienintelė vieta Bulgarijoje kur persivalgiau. Nuotraukoje jų firminis patiekalas su trim skirtingom mėsos rūšimis ir sūrio padažu. Beto, čia buvo tikrai skanios ir paprastos Šopska salotos.

Un loc liniștit, departe de aglomerația din centru, dar care poate oferi o surpriza foarte plăcută, mai ales dacă ești curios să încerci mâncăruri tradiționale.

Super jedzenie. Typowo Bułgarskie potrawy 😋. Obsługa miła polecam.

Смачна їжа, великі порції. Риба і сковорідки дуже добрі і ситні. Смачний салат із тунця. Є обіднє меню. На терасі під виноградом дуже затишно обідати.
