Smolyan Waterfall

Amazing place to visit! Breathtaking views all around! All the bridges are repaired and safe to cross!

Overall amazing, however good to note is that the trip is long ( 3h+ ) and there is no shop to buy water or other drinks from.

A nice little waterfall located in Smolyan town. Easy walk, easy access. There are some benches to sit at and enjoy the waterfall.

Peaceful little waterfall short walk from the Old City Center.

Very nice track, between medium and hard. Done with a 20 month old and 3.5 year old. The panoramic view was the compensation for the hard track, and the kids have done it well. Recommended, specially if kids are used to trekking or with bigger kids.
The marks in the trail were fine, but could have better ones on the highest part.

Beautiful waterfall that requires literally three minutes to walk to with some benches at the end to sit and enjoy

When you drive up, there is nothing yet to see but when you take the walking path it's really a very nice waterfall in the middle of Smolyan which in itself is pretty cool 😎

A beautiful walk that gets better as you climb. Amazing plant life, we spotted many yellow spotted salamanders. The bridges are well taken care of. Picnic areas are quaint. The water is refreshing to drink and bath in. This is one of the magical places in the Rhodopi Mountains

A good place for hiking, there is fresh air up there when it is very hot in the valley.

The correct way is like seen on the photo. Go right in the middle and you will hear the waterfall.

Google maps show on map beginning of waterfall but that is not good location.
Entry is lower, close to the hotel. Unfortunately,there is no sign on road, but there is sign on walking path.

Nice park and walk track. Wonderful nature. Worth spending a day.

Amazing place. After wandering for a while, we finally find it, and it was worth the walking. Breathtaking view, the water was disappearing in the snow and appeared again after view metres. Highly recommend.

A great eco-path with a few waterfalls! Stunning nature!

The hike is about 2-3hrs long and it's not hard. The scenery is breathtaking! Must do it if you like waterfalls!

A true urban gem. The longest town in Bulgaria has this waterfall right in between its houses. The municipality of Smolyan has put some effort to clean up the path leading to the waterfall and now it's easy accessible for the public.
