I was there during Christmas time, it was amazing, with beautiful lighting. It's a place crowded with tourists. There's a vibe where you surrender your soul to the street music. Everyone should be there during Christmas time.
Friendly people. The surrounding cafes have great options too. Sit down and share beautiful moments with your friends in a magnificent way.

Stepping Back in Time at Burg Square, Bruges

The blue building in particular is one of my favorites. Just looks super royal to me.

The place offers a nice possibility to observe people while sitting on the stairs in a hidden spot, but for those who want to be a star in this show all doors are open: you can make fun pictures while jumping, running through the place in circles or from one end to another or by accidentally appearing at the photos of other visitors. 10/10!

Very nice and beautiful square where the city hall is located. It is close to Market Square which is also a popular and amazing place. Both are definitely a must-see sight in Bruges!

Really nice large square in the middle of Brugge. There jz so much going on here at any given time. It is really impressive . I suggest just grabbing a seat a one of the Cafes and watching everything happening

If you feel like exploring the real historic monuments and architecture, burg square or I should say Bruges in Belgium is a place to be. Plan your visit along with your friends or family and enjoy your stay for couple of days in Bruges. Must visit. Me and my family loved the overall place and the ambience this place has. Do take a boat ride as well to explore the city.

This is so pretty ! Brugges square is Magnum and beautiful! There are lot of things to explore around the place here.

Brugge is definitely one the most charming cities in Europe. In every corner there is a beautiful building to admire, every place is photogenic, as if the whole city itself was designed specially for pictures! Just buy a bag of authentic Belgian chocolate and taste it while walking randomly by the lovely streets!

So huge and surrounded by beautiful historical buildings. You can enjoy fresh tasty waffles in whole brugge. Brugge has many bruaries where you can enjoy fresh beer.A must visit historical city

Beautiful and historic square with museums and other attractions. Also some very nice restaurants and bars very close by, and often a waffle vendor in a caravan - yum!
Can be quite busy on weekends.

Very beautiful building and whole square

We have visited Bruges several times in recent years and have very much enjoyed time spent on Burg Square during each of those visits.

Top-notch architecture is on display at Stadhuis and the small Basilica of the Holy Blood and fine interior visit to Brugse Vrije makes for very good sightseeing at Burg Square. What we also very much like about this area is the daily market which fills the square during the early and midday hours.

Lots of attractive stalls selling all manner of food for immediate consumption as well as items you can take back to your hotel (fruit, cheese and meats) and even pack to take home (nougat). We like seeing the flowers and plants on display during the daily market as well.

Burg Square is a highlight area of Bruges and important place to pass by during visits to the city.

Best hot chocolate in Bruges. The waffle was raw in the middle. The place is amazing to see. Every building is more beautiful than the next one... One lovely place to take. A unch of Greta pics

Very nice area. Has quite a bit to do in the area including shopping, food, and experiences. It seems to be quite a popular area so prepare to walk through quite a bit of crowds but the views and architecture is definitely worth the walk through.

Just wow. Stunning architecture with amazing history. The site of an old cathedral which was destroyed in a past war. This is easily one of the most gorgeous places in the whole of Bruges. As you can see, it’s an ideal place for a Christmas celebration as well. It’s truly a gorgeous spot.
