Le Sancerre Dinant

Fab meal, steak was cooked exactly as requested and the tagliatelle with prawns was perfect. The waiter was so helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Our experience at La Sancerre was lovely. The location is so nice overlooking the river, and the food was delicious. I had the tagliatelle with shrimp and my friend had the 4 cheese penne. We each tried each other’s pasta and loved both. If you get drinks they only take cash, but if you also have food you can pay with card.

The dishes are distinctive, especially “Escalope Du Chef” dish. The best time to visit is at sunset, and sit next to the water.

Really not sure how this place ended up with such low reviews because it is well-situated by the river, has excellent staff and offers good portions for the price paid.

The only unfortunate thing was that we came in November and we’re unable to enjoy the view of the river but it was otherwise a very good experience.

Had a lovely meal and drink here. Three of us had Tagliatelle Yellow Curry with Scampi which was excellent and one of us had chicken skewers with mushroom sauce. Excellent food and value for money along with a great beer and sitting by the river

We had a great experience! We had the meatballs in red and white sauce. Good portions and nice service. Nice choice of beer as well!

A real nugget. Lovely food, really helpful and friendly service and excellent wine. Slightly lacking in atmosphere but only because it was a midweek lunchtime. Well worth a visit.

Lots of beer choices and great food.
We were at other restaurants around and the oysters here are the best we've tried in Dinant.
The problem I saw is that there is only 1 capable waiter, the others are just to be there. Might want to hire at least 1 more waiter in the busy months.
All in all was an excellent restaurant overall

All food are perfect, i ordered the 4 cheese pasta and entrecôte steak and caesar salad. Also Crème brûlée is delicious as well.

Very nice restaurant. My boyfriend would definitely recommend the chicken satay. Waiter Alex was able to recommend him a beer after telling the waiter his preference, the La Houppe is one of the better beers my boyfriend tasted. My pasta was a little less exciting, but still from good quality.

Amazing and cosy restaurant, very delicious food and the service was incredible. For sure a food highlight for the city!
