Great place for a cup of tea of coffee. Great atmosphere. The owner speaks good English and French and probably other languages. They sell food too, which I'm sure is excellent too, but we only had drinks

Had a 2 night stay here in June whilst visiting the WW1 cemeteries. This place is an absolute gem!!! Our Hosts could not have done enough for us. The hotel itself is very quirky but totally unique and made a pleasant change from the typical "sterile" hotel environment. Our room did not have en-suite but that didn't matter as a decent sized bathroom was just a couple of paces away down the hall and we did not have to share it with other guest during our stay. Breakfast was superb, lovingly prepared and presented. I am a regular visitor to Ypres and this has now become my must stay place for future visits. If you like something a little different and great personal service this is the place for you!!!

This is a little gem of a place my husband found for us to stay for a night...its beautiful, clean, whimsical, comfortable and the owner Renard couldn't have been more delightful. We have never been made to feel so welcome and the little touches of sweets, cider, Tea and coffee in the most fairytale room ever then the loveliest continental breakfast which we couldn't finish so Renard packed us up 💟

It is a stones throw from the Flanders museum, Cathedral and The Menin Gate with lots of shops and restaurants. If we ever return we shall certainly stay here again.

5 stars are not enough for this amazing little gem of a place. Quirky, comfortable and an absolutely delicious breakfast with so much variety. Would recommend to anyone who can climb a spiral staircase!

Fab place right in the heart of Ypres. Really comfortable well decorated room. The proprietor was as amusing as he was helpful 10/10 - top place.

Went here for a coffee, it was a really nice place, the people were really friendly and the drinks very nice - lovely!

Great service and hospitality. Neat and clean rooms. Price quality very well.

Loved it. Popped in there in 2017 and still talk about the speciality of the house and the lovely friendly atmosphere.

Pannenkoek met koffie besteld.
Alles lekker en warm, wat mij betreft moest het scheutje alcohol niet in pannenkoek.
Toffe en joviale bediener.

Prachtige plek midden in het centrum van Ieper, eigenaar is heel aardig en behulpzaam, z'n ontbijt subliem.
Kamer is groot en helemaal leuk, zeker als je van vintage houd.
Iets wat je hier moet beleven is de last post iedere dag stipt om 20.00 uur bij de menenpoort.

Vriendelijke bediening, lekkere pannenkoeken.

Dit is mijn favoriete plek om iets te gaan drinken. Het decor is prachtig, de prijzen zijn redelijk voor wat je krijgt en wat je krijgt is van hoge kwaliteit. Ook de service hier is zeer goed.
