Best pastries I’ve ever eaten. The eclairs and apple turnovers are to die for. The shopkeeper (didn’t get their name unfortunately) was so so lovely. Must visit

We happened upon this bakery and were blown away. I’m a dessert and pastry fanatic and can say these were some of the best pastries I’ve ever tasted in my life! The croissant filled with pudding, apricot flaky pastry, and fluffy donut filled with custard were all incredible. The shop owner was also very sweet. This place is worth detouring to.

Has to be one of the best bakeries in Bruges. Also, not in crowded tourists center.

A truly wonderful bakery!!! We tried an assortment of morning pastries, and they were all great. I had one with cream and raisins unlike anything I have had before, and it was delicious. My husband had one that was filled with cream, and it had so much cream spilling out that eating it was messy. Of all the fabulous places in Brugge, this one is a standout!

more to the point the pastries— as a boy i used to go with my mother and sister to the old German pastry shop in Manhattan on E. 86th St. called the Eclair

I have been searching for the last 55 years for an eclair that fits my memory of those ones, and we all know how hard it is to find something as good as we remember childhood

to be honest, I’m always disappointed

Now I can stop searching and let that memory rest because the eclair I had today from this man’s shop was as good as what I remember from 1965 that’s no easy feat

I also had a very good baguette

And tomorrow will make it my mission to purchase one of the beautiful looking mini Cakes made of Apple

In our opionon the best in Brugges.
Fairly priced, good portions and the best taste.
It really look like handmade and not some chain products.
I would definitely recommend it and will be there the next time i visit Brugges.

A very lovely bakery with a big variety of mostly sweet goodies. My everyday croissants and waffles for breakfast in the park beneath were delicious and at a good price (no need for breakfast suggests from the restaurants in the environment). Besides, the employees were very friendly and considering my practises in French language during my purchases rather patient ;)

This bakery has the best pannekoeken (crepe) ever hands down. I always come here to satisfy my sweet tooth cravings. The sweets are high quality and the service is always friendly.

We got the custard filled croissant and an apricot jam crispy pastry. I highly recommend them both.

Words cannot describe the wonders crammed into this tiny shop. Fresh crepes by the kilo. Apple and custard slices that transcend description. After dinner chocolate truffles big enough to choke a seagull. Beautiful loaves of bread (including Spelt loaves). Gorgeous local marmalade. Champagne. Chewy meringues. I must stop before I explode!
