This and the area around it are picture perfect. Not a usual touristy place in Brugge but a must place to go to. Two windmills nearby on top of small hillocks and the river flowing by. It was a bright and sunny day and we thoroughly enjoyed going there. Highly recommended.

One of several defensive city gates that are posted along the canal bridges. Beautiful architecture. Scenic spot. No public access that I am aware of.

This is another cool, historical place that is along the outer trail of Bruges. This was our final stop. Cars drive into town through this building so be careful crossing the entrance.

Great place to visit,and there is a old windmill park if you turn left right in front of the gate and walk like 200 meters.

Very serene canal side park with old fashioned windmills. Gets very windy so make sure you get warm clothes.

Nice historical sight, but has a heavy traffic. The shore is beautiful around it and there's a nice windmill just behind it.

Came here for a fencing class. Was a very cool venue to have these classes. Very friendly instructor and Fun competition.

Very Beautiful place, perfect place to stop during a nice walk and just take in the view of the beginning of Bruges. A lot of history here, I find it boring but my companion liked it and would not let me give it less than Five stars :)

This place is 15 min walking from the main square going south. The are 3 windmills close by to each other. You can appreciate the real Medieval of Brugges when you walk that way. Don't miss it.
