One of the best tourist spot of Sylhet. It is situated at Jaintapur in Sylhet district. If possible come here at rainy season.

It is nice place to make your mind joyfull. When I vist the place water was excellent. But boatman said if you come in november, you can enjoy the beauty of it with full aesthetics.

Really beautiful. It was a pretty hot day, so imagine my desire to just jump in and relax in there! There are boat services as well as kayaking services.

We rented a Leguna from Sylhet city and went straight to Lala Khal. We rented a board there and toured the entire canal.

There is blue water all over a large part of the canal. Basically, if you want to see this blue water, you have to go to Lala Khal in the winter season.

And of course, keep an eye on keeping the environment beautiful...

Lalakhal is situated in Jointapur Upazila about 35 km away from sylhet city. The location of Lalakhal is just below the Cheraponji of India. This river is originated from Cheraponji hill and flows through the Bangladesh. This is very suitable place to feel the nature very closely. If you go in full moon you never forget the lovely moonlight. You can see the lot of turning in Lalakhal River. Those are beautiful. If you look at the hill, it seems someone decorated those one by one with his own hand. Cloud are frozen on the hills. If you look at closely, the clouds are tied up and stuck on hills together. Sometimes suddenly it would be unsighted within a moment.

The part of lalakhal near Tamabil Road name Shari River. The most attractive and interesting thing of this river is various color of water. Water of different part of this river be different such as blue, green and crystal. You can reach Lalakhal by boat or speed boat on the crystal water of Shari River. Oh! How crystal the water of Shari, you can see the bottom of the river. You can never back your eyes from this unimaginable scene. Beautiful Lalakhal is more beautiful at night. As there has no resident to stay for tourist, so you have to back Sylhet before night. But you can hire a boat to hangout. The surrounding of Lalakhal in twilight is so much lovely. Why will you miss it?

It was a beautiful place. The water was so clear. The breeze was so nice. The moon light creates a beautiful environment. Like all the other places in Sylhet, the boat fare is too high. The journey was so beautiful. The songs from other boat will bring a festive environment.

Mashaallah , I have nothing to say. What a wonderful creation of Allah, what a pure natural environment. Known as the daughter of nature, it is one of the few eye-catching travel spots in Sylhet. It is located in Jaintapur upazila, 35 km from Sylhet city. Lalakhal just below Cherrapunji in India. The river originates from the Cherrapunji hills and flows through Bangladesh. The water of Lalakhal is blue.The color of the river water is due to the sandy bottom of the river instead of the minerals and mud mixed with the flowing water from the Jaintia hills. Numerous bends are seen in Lalakhal river The traveler Ibn Battuta came to Bangladesh through this river.Transportation is good and good place for those who love nature.

The place of blue/green water. Very much easy and less time consuming tour according to me. The quite nature makes me feel the inner me. Touching the water through my feet was the best part of the boat journey.

The water has a very beautiful colour and its cold and refreshing. It's avery beautiful place. It reminds you how beautiful the creation of Allah is.
