Sonali Bank Limited (Bengali: সোনালী ব্যাংক লিমিটেড) is the principal state-owned leading public commercial bank in Bangladesh.[6] It is the largest bank in the country. Newtown branch situated at Newtown, Patuakhali Sadar, Patuakhali is a reputed branch of Sonali bank limited. It's one of the busiest & important branchs that serves a number of financial services to it’s clients & the general public. It also provides various services to the people on behalf of the Govt.

সকাল থেকে সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত ব্যাস্ততম একটি ব্যাংক। তবে অপেক্ষারত গ্রাহকদের জন্য আরও কয়েকটা ফ্যানের ব্যাবস্থা করার অনুরোধ রইলো।

Large and specious, but no modern or secured decorations. Banking system is not well organized in this branch. I think there should be strict provisions of disciplines and security
