Patuakhali polytechnic institute is one of the best polytechnic in Bangladesh. it was established in 1991 with only 40 students in the 1st year classes of diploma -in- engineering in Electrical technology with growing demands of mid level technical manpower home and abroad the institute has since greatly expanded . The institute now offers courses in 5(five) technplogies. The mission of Patuakhali Polytechnic Institute is absolute commitment to the highest btainable standard of quality service through excellence and concerted efforts of customers, employees and shareholders at all levels of corporate activity in the use of organizational science and knowledge to solve real life business problems. I was a student of this polytechnic, Patuakhali Polytechnic Institute establishes in the southern part of Bangladesh. It established in 1989 but the academic activities started in 1993. At the beginning there were only two Technologies (Civil Technology & Electrical Technology). After few years, Electronics technology start running under TVET project and at last Computer and RAC technologies added under “Modernization of existing 20 Polytechnic institutes and establishment of 18 new polytechnic institutes” project. Now, there are five technologies all together and around 2000 students are studying here in learning friendly environment.

I passed Diploma in Civil Engineering from this institution.There have five Departments Civil,Computer,Electronic,Electrical and RAC.There have enough experimental instruments to learn.
