Gala Makeover Studio & Salon

We had a relaxing day at Gala Makeover Studio & Salon. The good thing about the salon is that the staff were polite and not gossiping amongst themselves in native language unlike some other reputed Beauty Salons. I loved their brightening body massage and tan removal facial. I feel they are way better and more affordable than most Salons in Dhaka. No pre booking was needed, and we got our service as soon as we walked in. Ambience is calm and soothing 😌 highly recommended if you are back after a trip with a suntanned skin.

I tried Gala after a visit to Kensho to see which salon was better by comparing them on the following treatments: deluxe mani/pedi, hair treatment, hot stone massage and a luxe facial.

At the end of my treatments I can safely say Gala is a clear winner. Their aestheticians have a good attitude, give you your space/privacy, are generally more experienced as well as knowledgeable about the products/benefits. I felt very comfortable and relaxed in their capable hands. I highly recommend Gala’s massages they do a tremendous job at undoing your knots and making you feel rejuvenated.

popular for makeover but gala offer’s other services too. facial is nice, they have skilled beauticians. but no signboards outside, and no parking. price menus seems reasonable.

Back in 2019, I got my wedding make up done from Sylvia apu in gala and my sister and mom got theirs done from bijoya apu and sweety apu respectively and we were all fully satisfied with our make up. 2 days ago, my sister got her wedding make up done from Sylvia apu and Sylvia apu definitely create the prettiest bride. One of my friends also got her wedding and engagement make up done from her and she looked ravishing. Sylvia apu keeps everything natural yet glam. When my sister dolled up as bride, bijoya apu and suzata apu did make up on me and my Mom and we loved the service and the makeover. Definitely recommend gala for your big days!

Their services are impeccable but must be booked prior to visiting or it will take quite a bit of time.

Recently they did the hair of my wife. It was done really well. We both loved it. The price was a bit expensive.
