This is one of the most famous places to watch movies in Bangladesh. Star Cineplex is a place of many people's memories. I probably watch hundreds of movies here. Overall, the experience is amazing, and I would love to go to the place again whenever I get a chance.

Very nice and good place to enjoy weekend with family friends. Everything is good except the price of foods inside the theatre. I enjoyed watching Mujib The making of a nation. Good place.

An well organised cinema hall that is currently ok but they have lots to improve but no body can complain easily on their services and environment.

It was Bangladesh's first multiplex theater. STAR CINEPLEX: Show Motion Ltd. established the multiplex movie theater sector in Bangladesh in December 2002 under the STAR Cineplex name. It is located on the top floor of the Bashundhara City shopping complex!

The stair design is unique. All floors are air conditioned. Very good place to visit for buying phones and cloths. Also, a big movie theatre is here.

Star Cineplex is the first ever international-standard multiplex chain in Bangladesh. It was built and is operated by Show Motion Ltd and was opened in 2002. The cinema is located at the top of the new Bashundhara City shopping centre in the district of Panthopath, Tejgaon, Dhaka. According to a news article from Dhaka Tribune, Star Cineplex will continue screening films at Bashundhara City shopping complex.
To me it's a clean and professional place to enjoy movies.

Such a lovely place. Seating arrangement and ambiance was very nice. The service is better than other places I went to. They clean the hall properly (which some don’t) . In some places, I found popcorn on the floor. They have great theater with good sound system and comfortable gallery shape sitting arrangement. They have good restroom facilities. You can even get snacks and drinks there. Ticket prices are really affordable. Suitable place to watch movie with family members and kids. And it has the only DOLBY ATMOS screen. Stuffs were helpful. We will go again

Great place to enjoy a movie in the theater. Best movie theater in the city. It's the oldest hall among all the branches. The environment is too good and the behaviour is good. Suitable for all ages and children as well. Outside food is not allowed here but snacks and fuska bar are available inside the hall. Worth trying and for me it's better than the jamun future park one.

Bashundhara City Star Cineplex offers a fantastic movie-watching experience with its state-of-the-art facilities and comfortable seating. The sound and picture quality are excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. A must-visit for all movie enthusiasts!

Star cineplex is very popular cine show service provider of Bangladesh.Recently they’ve taken lead of various Bangladeshi and international film inauguration.One thing I must appreciate about 3D hall;it’s the country’s 1st 3D hall and serving wonderful service till now. Mr.Ruhel is chairman now; a kind,dedicated and enthusiastic of show business. When conventional cinema hall are closing repeatedly,Cineplex is taking lead to modern show business.

One of the best theatre in the city. Few friends and I visited the cinema hall to watch
most hyped movie Spider-Man: No Way Home. Fairly priced and with good environment. The seats were comfortable. Visited almost 12 times.

The only downside is the pricing on the food and 3D movie quality. They must reduce the food price and improve the 3D glasses quality. Also there Website and Online booking system are useless.

Although enjoyed every moment, enjoyed the movie!

This cinema complex in Bangladesh is highly recommended for those seeking a 3D movie experience. The environment is exceptionally clean and the picture quality is top-notch. With six halls available, multiple movies can be enjoyed simultaneously. The staff is also known for their good behavior. Although the prices may be slightly higher, the service provided is worth it. Parking is available underground at Basundara Shopping Centre. Additionally, there are good food options available within the complex, although the prices may be a bit steep. It is important to note that outside food is not allowed.

Star Cineplex was founded on 9 October 2004, in Bashundhara City. Star Cineplex has six fully digital cinema screens with state-of-the-art 3D Projection Technology, silver screens, Dolby-Digital sound and stadium seating. With a total capacity of approximately 1600 seats the theater has large lobby with full concession stands serving pop-corns, soft drinks, ice-creams and many other items.

It was the best experience there. I really liked the environment, hall very much. The foods were also tasty. And movie seemed really enjoyable in that place. Sound effects were just so real.. It was like i was in that movie. Very thrilling place... I watched Hawa there... The sound system and the environment made the movie more enjoyable. You can take Children also. Not so crowded.

One of the best and the most premium cinema hall in town. Price range is comparatively quite good and now but there food price is too much high. Overall good environment nice decoration well qualified sound system.

Anyone can buy ticket from online but they should improve their online ticket system, still now there are few bugs.
