Gulshan Lake Park

Gulshan Lake Park is a lovely spot situated at Gulshan-2 area in Dhaka to enjoy nature and unwind. The park is well-kept and features a lovely lake, strolling paths, and benches. It is especially peaceful in the early morning, when there are many birds and flowers to be seen. If you want to get away from the city for a while, I recommend going to Gulshan Lake Park.

Beautiful park in Gulshan area with a lake and thousands of trees. Entry is open for general people and this place is great for walking or jogging or doing physical exercises. It has only one entrance gate and it is suggested to start walking from the right walkway after the entry.

The park is very neat and clean with great natural beauty. The seating arrangement is also very nice for the visitors to take some rest. The security of this place is also good. A good place to spend some good time and visit regularly.

Beautiful... absolutely beautiful. Quiet, serene, free, probably a horrible place to visit during summer, but winter, it's magical.

This park is pretty decorated and renovated recently so some of the previous pictures from g maps won’t match. Disciplined and well secured. Many foreigners and people of different ages can be seen jogging in the morning. 🏃‍♂ Also a good photogenic place.

Very Calm and peaceful atmosphere. There's a lake in the middle of the park with clean and clear water the whole area shaded by trees and surrounds the lake. Well beautified, organized. A very beautiful natural park including a plant nursery.

Gulshan Lake Park is maintained by Gulshan Society

In 2021, Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) signed two separate Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) with Gulshan Society. As per the MoU, Gulshan Society will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the Gulshan-Banani-Baridhara Lake and Gulshan Lake Park on behalf of Rajuk. This will be renewed every five years.

For the management of the approximately 8.5 acre Gulshan Lake Park, Gulshan Society has an executive committee of 19 members who are selected from the community by the society members.

Beautiful greenery amidst concrete jungle with a serene lake and a small nursery gives the place a touch of tranquility...a kids corner, a tea corner a small amphitheatre and a yoga/ exercise court makes this park more useful. There is a port of fresh drinking water refill but I don't know it was functional or not and a basin with soap for hand wash...but only drawback I have seen was the presence of icddrb collection booth...is a big 'no no' within this kind of park where usually healthy people comes with small children and aged senior citizen who may prone to infection if exposed...recommended to visit.

Beautiful and one of the best park for an evening walk or spend some quality time surrounded by nature in Gulshan society. Well designed, well maintained and very organized. No one would bother you or try to sell something.

There is a kids play ground, walkway around the lake, a small stage for social function, basket ball court, benches around the park, vending machine for drinks and snacks, and most importantly its wheelchair accessible.

This is a wonderful place where you can hike, jog and run in a beautiful environment. Also get some rides for kids to play. Found a nice basketball court where I enjoyed playing for some time. There is also a great library to pass the time. If you want to drink coffee, you will find a coffee shop here. And you can spend time sitting in the sitting area surrounded by a beautiful reservoir. I have a great time every time I go here. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and crowd-free park for runners and walkers. It has a track of approx 0.9 km across the lake. One entrance and with adequate security personal. Well-lit for evening walk and remains open till 11 am. It has well-maintained clean washrooms (separate for male and female), drinking water, BP checking facility. Separate space for children. A nursery inside. An open amphitheater and sitting arrangement across the water body.

Excellent South Indian food, we had non-veg Thali with unlimited refills, fish, prawn, chicken, mutton, eggs, different kinds of rice, pulao, puri, curd, jilebi and pickles!!!

The lake park is such place in the concrete Dhaka city where I can take fresh breath. The walk way is very neat and clean and wide. Very frequently I go with my family members. My kids get lots of fun over there. There is a eye smoothing lake. There are lot of trees here. The park is well managed and secured.

A breath of fresh air in the middle of the concrete jungle that is Dhaka. Very well maintained park. Full of green all around. The walkway is wide and smooth. There is a kids’ zone, which is small but beautifully maintained. There are separate areas for workouts/exercises. There’s a water station supplying both cold and warm water. There’s a vending machine too. For me there are only two downsides: one is the eyesore that is corporate branding, which is too many in this park. And the other is that they charge a small amount for using the washrooms. Washrooms are well maintained, but the charge is a very unwelcoming experience.

Perfect for walking and running. Neat and clean environment. Safe for locals and foreigners. They maintain the gardens regularly. There is a kid's zone too. People of all ages can come here. There are enough dust bins inside the park, so don't put any garbage here and there.
