Previously it was a government house. Bangabandhu named it as Uttara gonobhobon. Beautiful landscape and nice colonial architecture. The entry fee is 30 taka. But there is no option to enter the main building. There is a museum inside the territory. It's also an entry fee requirement for This.

Dighapatia Rajbari was originally constructed in 1734 and reconstructed in 1897. It was made governor's house in 1967, and it was designated as Uttara Gonobhobon in 1972. The 0lace is well maintained and is a must visit in Rajshahi.

It is the home for the prime minister in the northern region of Bangladesh. It was built in 1734 by King of Dighapatia Doya Ram Roy. If anyone wants to visit inside the main building he will need permission from the Deputy commissioner of the district. The main building is awesome. The natural lighting arrangement is awesome. The arrangements of rooms are great and nicely decorated. The garden on all sides of the building is beautiful. There are rare trees in the garden. The sculptures are beautiful too. The whole place is encircled by trance ( i mean a wide khal) and its water is clear. Anyone visiting there will enjoy it. Our guide was too good.

This is a nice and historical administrative area. Entry fee is 30tk per head and there has a meusum access with extra 30tk per person. A mini zoo also here. Car parking fee was applicable for bike 30tk and car 100tk. Overall the facility was high in contrast of services. There was no entry persmission in main building. As a hustorical place there has a neglegancey to take care and cleanliness but it's a full secure and social place for passing a calm momment with family.

It's a beautiful place. Amazing.
One of the must visit place of natore. There is a small zoo inside there. I feel bad for the monkey specially. They tie it with a heavyweight chain and iron lock. So bad.

I recently visited Uttara Gonobhobon in Natore and was captivated by its rich history and attractions. The place showcased a fascinating collection of ancient artifacts from the kings, a charming zoo, and the elegant Queen's residence. It was a delightful experience that allowed me to step back in time and explore the royal heritage of Natore.

If you want to see something extra ordinarily special in Bangladesh, this is your place. You can't afford to miss this beauty at any cost. You will get the touch of Royal people's life back in the day. The architecture you will get to see here is simply breath taking. If you can arrange the permission from the authority to enter into the buildings, you will be simply amazed. But, please be gentle enough to not take any photos within the buildings as this is highly restricted place. But at outside, you are good to go. So, go and treat your eyes with some serene beauty in the land of freedom fighters.

Uttara Ganabhaban is one of the most historic, beautiful place in Bangladesh, situated at Natore town in North Bengal. It was known as Estate Rajbari during British and Pakistan period. It was the palace of the Maharajas of Dighapatia. The government is now using the place as the official residence of the head of the government of Bangladesh in the northern region. It was built by Raja Doyaram who was the Dewan (minister) of Rani Bhavanee.

Uttara Ganabhobon is an amazingly beautiful architecture situated in the Natore district of Bangladesh. It was used as a private palace of local land lords during the British Empire. However, after its renovation in 2018, the beautiful palace has become a major tourist attractions in the Northern Bangladesh.
