I visited this place for the third time, yesterday. The entry fee is 50 taka, Boro Shordar baari requires another 100 tk buts that's only if you wanto visit that place. Then there is boat ridding and other joy rides like nagordola, there is a library, restaurant, several food shops and somewhere you can watch putul naach for 30 tk per show (not recommended).
Overall the finest and cost efficient place near Dhaka to go for a picnic / outing with your family.

Among the few Folk Art and Handcraft museums in Bangladesh, Sonargaon Museum is notable. The traces of various daily necessities used by the primitive people are found here. There is also a zamindar house and a pond.

There are many historical artifacts in the museum here. If we know that we can know detailed information about our history, tradition and culture. Due to re-innovation, the place looks like new. When the entire work is completed, hopefully many local and foreign tourists will increase and the interest of foreigners to know about our history will increase. Moreover, in a very open and serene environment, you can visit near Dhaka in a very short time.

A very good place to explore the culture of Bangladesh and the history of cultural Bangladesh. You can spend a quality time with your family and friends. There is lot of things available to enjoy. There are a lot of instrument that aren't use anymore at the village life or at the town life. If you want to explore all the area it will take at least 4 to 5 hours in hand and all the required things you want.

Bangladesh Folk Art and Handcraft museum is one of the few places to know about the history of the indigenous people of this locality. The collections of this museum witness the daily life style, culture and the talent of the rural people of that time. This place is highly recommended for the history lovers.

Historical Landmark. Great place to visit with family

This one is a very beautiful place to spend time with families and friends. If you are in a large gorup then you can go their freely. There are so many pomds, sturctures, shops and so on inside the territory.. You can pass your time very comfortably on there. It is wise to go there on weekdays because there are so crowd on weekends. As it has large areas, you won't feel bored in weekends though.

Bangladesh Folk and Crafts Foundation is located in Sonargaon, Narayanganj District. Inside it Sardar's house, Zainul folk and handicrafts museum, lake, canal, handicraft square, the beauty of the lake shore, the natural environment inside, the natural environment full of green trees, all the beauty will give you a very enchanting feeling. The authorities often keep the museum closed on Wednesdays, though the week is supposed to be closed for the full day on Thursday and half day on Wednesday. The rest of the days are open from 9 am to 5 pm. The entry fee here is 50 bdt. You can spend a wonderful time here with your family and loved ones.
