Mujibnagar is the first capital of independent Bangladesh.It’s former name is 'Boiddonath Tola'.Now it is situated in Meherpur district.

This place is really amazing. I visit here too many time. There a lot things to see. People of others country also visit here. This is stand on a big land. It deserve the memories of Bangladesh Independent. It is an historical place. There are a place to stand your vehicles. But there allow to entre by a bike without Friday.

One of the historical place in Bangladesh. Everyone who came to mujibnagor should visit this place. Location is very quite and nature is amazing. Must watch this monument. And there is huge aambagan which we read in our books. But you can see this beautiful in your eyes.

One of the best place to know our history. Great natural view, mind refreshing. You can take your children to show them, what we have been gone through. It contains the dark memory of Bangladesh. Also They can acquire practical knowlodge by seeing 3D maps off Bangladesh as well as rivers, border, different historical element, historic moments etc. This place is really amazing, we can learn so much historical knowledge just by visiting here.

A historical place of Bangladesh liberation war, formerly known as Baidyanathtala. The place was renamed Mujibnagar by the proclamation of independence, in honour of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who declared Bangladesh independence. The First Government of Bangladesh was formed at this historical place.

This place is really really excellent. This is my first journey. I saw the Historical Map,Mujibnagar Aambagan, National leaders statue, Mujibnagar Museum, Beautiful Rose garden and Freedom road.I went to India by walking the freedom road.The gift of two roses by the forest department staff was my absolute find. I feel proud to be a witness of various history of Liberation war by visiting Mujibnagar Memorial.

A historic place for all the bangladeshi people because the first bd govt took oath here. It has a memorial which has 23 columns. There us a huge Bangladesh map which is the centre of attraction. The place has capability of different programs and picnics. It is a picnic spot too . Every bangladeshi citizen must pay a visit to mujibnagar at least once in a life time.

Mujibnagar Memorial is located at Mujibnagar in Meherpur district. This memorial has been built where the provisional government of Bangladesh was formed during the war of liberation. Its architect is Tanvir Kabir.

This place is just awesome. It’s ambience is amazing. It’s a good choice to spend some time here. Just make sure it’s not summer.

The Mujibnagar monument has 23 pillars, some of which are shown here, representing the 23 years of Pakistani rule over East Bengal before it became independent as Bangladesh. The red brick square marks the spot where the Mujibnagar government ministers took their oaths.

It is one of the historical places of Bangladesh. It's a beautiful place also. This place is surrounded by many Mango trees.

Mujibnagar Smriti Saudha (Memorial) At the initial stage of the War of Liberation, the government in exile of the People's Republic of Bangladesh took oath at village Baidyanathtala in Meherpur district on 17 April 1971. Baidyanatala was renamed as mujibnagar after the name of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Later a memorial monument was constructed to commemorate the place of oath.

Immediately after the War of Liberation the Government of Bangladesh took initiative to make Mujibnagar memorable. On 31 August 1973 the government gave an instruction to construct a memorial at Mujibnagar. During the observance of Mujibnagar Day on 17 April 1974, Syed Nazrul Islam, the acting President of the Bangladesh Government in exile during the liberation war, formally inaugurated the project.

But after 1975 the work of the project was suspended. In 1986, initiative was taken to complete the work of the monument for which nearly two crore taka was sanctioned.

Historical place. Excellent experience for me. I will visit again there.
