Dhaka’s very oldest standing traditional protestant Church in Bangladesh. The Dhaka Baptist Church (DBC) is situated in the old city of Dhaka beside the bank of the Buriganga River. Built in 1882 with the auspices of British missionaries to ministering to others, the church has grown through the years. However, its origins go back to the work started by Dr. William Carey in 1796. The church building was rebuilt in 1995 and extended with 5 storied church buildings in 2014. The church has a glorious history of proclaiming the gospel in this country. This website will provide you with information about church, our mission is to disciple people through holistic development i.e. spiritual nurturing, Christian leadership development, and outreach programs by utilizing God-given resources.

It's a very old church of Dhaka city. It is about 127 years old! It runs also a English Medium School named Heed International School. Church service time Summer: 5.30 pm, Winter :5.00pm (Every Sunday).
