Mohera Jamider Bari

Excellent place to have fun with friends and family. Its a historical place of long before, built in 1890. Half day visit is recommended with kids. Full day plan is also ok. Lot of areas to cover. Children park, pond, palaces, cafes etc....

I recently visited this place, and I must say it's a hidden gem. The large, palace-like houses give it a regal feel, taking you back in time. The museum showcases old items from the region's history, offering a glimpse into the past.

The lakes create a serene atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely walk. They're surrounded by trees and greenery, making it a peaceful escape.

For some fun, there are rides for both kids and adults. It's a great spot for family outings. The area is clean and calm, a welcome break from the city.

There are comfy spots to sit and enjoy the view. Whether it's a picnic or some quiet time, it's the perfect setting.

In a nutshell, it's a charming place with history, nature, and recreation rolled into one. I'd definitely recommend a visit to experience its unique charm.

A good place for a day out with friends n family, kids. A small children park and Hello food court are there.

It was a nice place to visit. Though there is no provision to get inside the Jamider Bari as those are currently used as offices.
There is a small amusement park,a small zoo, a museum and a food corner.

I would suggest not to visit during summer as it is too hot to tolerate or else take umbrella to save yourself from heat.

Entry fee is 100 taka each and under 5 yrs old it is free

It will take approximately 2 hrs if you go by your own transport.

Not that much of a historical place i assumed.

Till i would rate 6/10 overall.

The entire premises is under police control so security is much ensured.

Place is beautiful and clean. You can enjoy with anyone. There is also a mini park.

Mohera Jomider Bari

Tips for visitors:

The best time to visit Mohera Jomider Bari is during the winter months (November to February), when the weather is mild.

Wear comfortable shoes, as you will be doing a lot of walking.

Bring a hat and sunscreen, as there is not much shade on the grounds.

There is a small cafe on the premises, but it is best to bring your own food and water.

The site is wheelchair accessible, but there are some uneven surfaces.

Overall, I had a wonderful time visiting Mohera Jomider Bari. It is a must-see for anyone visiting Tangail.

I have been going for a long time and finally left.Far away from Dhaka to Mahera in Tangail. I was very disappointed after planning the whole day because this is a police training school and no one is allowed inside these landlord's houses. These have been made into administrative offices for which no one is allowed inside these houses.There were no good restaurants nearby, so I moved to Dhaka. But I liked it a lot while I was there.

It's a beautiful Zamindar bari. Bangladesh police has made it their training center as well as a visiting place

A great historical place indeed. Kudos to Bangladesh Police for maintaining it quite nicely for over five decades!

Entry fee is 100 taka. photo lover can go there to take beautiful photos because there  have great views. You should visit this place for refreshment.

Having a history of its own the place still attracts its visitors. Visitors can roam here whole day long and have a wonderful time. The place is really good for photography as well as spending good time. The calm and quiet ambience give the visitors a great experience.

Entry fee is 80 bdt. The place is very neat and clean. We took lots photos and all are have great views. There is a small museum, zoo and park too. There are lots of sitting spaces and also you can enjoy some snacks. There is no option to enter into the building.

This place is really awesome. You can plan for a day trip with friends and family members. It will take around 2/3 hours depends on the traffic. The place is beautiful, secured and well maintained. You can even plan for a night stay. There's couple of palaces, two ponds, beautiful garden, kids play zone and lots.

It is a very beautiful place. When you see it, it fills your mind. This is the best beautiful place in Tongail

Excellent place to visit with family specially for kids. Found 4 to 5 Jomidar lodge which stating a lots of the past. Also there is a pond and some artificial toy rides for the children. Also found living 3 to 4 deers.
This place is basically now used for training academy of Police. Lots of people found from here and there are visiting the place.
