Guesthouse Ljetnja Basta Lukomir

Perfect guesthouse for your trip to Lukomir. The small house was so nice and warm. We got fresh breakfast with homemade cheese and food from Lukomir. The host was so nice and answered so many questions about the village and its history. We had such a good time. The hospitality was great. We would recommend staying here!

Being a guest but feeling like part of the family - that's how I would describe our experience here. The rooms are simple and clean, the bathroom sharing wasn't an issue for us at all. Coming to a village a bit stuck in time, you need to feel the authenticity of the old times. The food was authentic, simple, fresh and just delicious. Best burek we've tried was the one Emina made for us even though we came late that evening. The entire family was just amazing. Friendly, always smiling and ready to share a story or two about the village, their family history, even though they work really hard every day and anyone would be sick of tourists. Yet, they weren't. We really felt warmly welcomed here. Wish we could go back today! All the best, sending love to the whole family from Mijo and Sara. :)

Family run business, with amazing food and warm setting. Owner spent time explaining the history and showed us his grandfathers home which was a nice touch of history. We did the lukomire to umoljani hike way up in the mountains, it was amazing. One of the best hikes we have been on with a variety of ecological formations, 360 views, canyons, cliffs, grasslands, blueberries, odd rock formations, etc. We were also able to hitch hike to and from umoljani from Sarajevo; where we met nice people!

Sound of nature whirled through ears. We had rain, snow, sun and wind in just one day. Lukomir is and always was Great place to visit. Taste of clean fresh spring water is awrsome, and it can be found on many places throug Bjelasnica! Concerning guesthouse Letnja Bašta, Bosniancoffe at this house was great. Coffe on the mountain air is best coffe experience you can have! Tasted good! Fully enjoyed ! Place has offering of etnic bosnian food. If you crave for pita please call in advance... As Lucomir and Bjelasnica concern, fully recomend to visit, because I will be back again surely! Please note, not every car can get to the village because the road is very harsh.

We loved this place and are looking forward to come back next summer! This family run homestay is right at the entrance of Lukomir; is clean and the food is great. The owners will give any advice needed and are super friendly. Really recommend it, you will not regret!

Amazing host

Prvi put sam ovo mjesto posjetio 2021. sa svojom porodicom. Sve pohvale za gostoprimstvo i hranu koja je bila predobra, uz dobar izbor pita, preporučujem i prirodne domaće sokove! Uz predobru hranu vidimo i spoj prelijepog krajolika i tradicije. Sve pohvale za ovu priču, mislim da vrijedi doći tu ma kakav god put bio.

Ukoliko želite da osjetite čari prirode i bosanske domaće hrane, onda ste na pravom mjestu. Porodični biznis koji vode ovi ljudi je za svaku pohvalu. Naručite hranu koju želite (pite, meso, najbolji uštipci), dok obiđite selo gozba će vas čekati na stolu.
Također, ko želi može i noćiti i bolje doživjeti ovu seosku ljepotu.

Niesamowicie klimatyczne miejsce, zamówiliśmy z żoną 2 burki średnie, jeden z mięsem drugi z serem. Zostały nam zaproponowane małe burki, gdyż w ocenie gospodarza będą wystarczające i tak też było. Spore porcje, najlepsze burki jakie jedliśmy w BIH.

Nocleg bym porównała do typowego skromnego schroniska dla turystów w Polsce.
Nie ma tu luksusów, wieś położona najwyżej w całej Bośni. Ten klimat i atmosfera najlepsza. I to jest urlop :-)

Navkljub temu, da sem bil edini gost v slabem vremenu, sem bil lepo in postrežen. Topla čorbica s kruhom je stala 5 BAM, kavo so častili moji predhodniki. Gostiteljica je prijazna in ustrežljiva.
