There was no part of this that wasn’t incredible. The whole experience from parking the car to the steps up the mountain that continue through a tunnel to the top and then revel the imposing Mausoleum finished in black marble is nothing short of stunning.

Amazing panoramic view point at the back. Worth every penny of the €4 per adult.

One of the most beautiful places in Montenegro. It was a thrilling experience staring from a foggy view at the bottom of stairs and climbing above the clouds.

Not sure how it is in other seasons but it was unlike any other thing I’ve seen in mid November. It’s definitely worth the 8 euro entrance fee.

After you’ve done taking pictures of the amazing view, be sure to visit the mausoleum. There is a hard to spot stairs behind the wall of black monument of Peter II.

Absolutely breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. You'll have to pay a park fee to get into the national park first then an additional 8 euros to get to the top of the memorial and see the burial site. I think it was worth it.

Beautiful monument with absolutely amazing views. Be warned that you will be walking up almost 500 steps so bring water in summer! Well kept and easy to access. Great drive in too.

We paid 8 EUR per person and worth every cent of it. In addition to long stairs with cool breeze we were able to do lots of pictures and enjoy the amazing view from the top. Highly recommend to visit.

The 461 steps up are a bit of a slog but once you're up there the views are fabulous.
Most of the steps are undercover so some shelter on a hot day.
No car park so off road parking only.

3 euro to get into park and another 8 euro for going to the mausoleum part + the whole commute takes at least 1 hour, depending where you start, a bit overpriced, but it is worth it. Place is very unique and views are beautiful. If you have a car it is a must place to visit.

This place is well worth a visit if you are visiting the Kotor area. It's situated in the amazingly scenic Lovcen National Park and I believe it is the highest mountain in Montenegro.
The 360 degree views are spectacular, if you are willing to climb the 400+ stairs to the top and have a head for heights. There's also a lovely cafe restaurant on site with tables overlooking the parkland.
If you're into hiking, there are also some great trails around the park!
Highly recommend a visit.

Great views that are definitely worth the few hundred steps and entrance fee! 👍👍👍

Tip: if you go by car (which is probably the only option), drive up to the restaurant, there is a roundabout where you can make a nice turn and find a suitable parking space on the way down 😉

Must see or visit attraction when in Montenegro. A bit of a drive and walk up, but the view and the Mausoleum are absolutely worth it. Was cloudy when we visited, but the clouds and dark sky gave the views an even more dramatic effect.
Friendly guards in the Mausoleum itself as well.

Historic landmark and a must-visit attraction for those interested in Montenegrin history and culture. The monument is located in a beautiful mountainous area and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The architecture is impressive, with many details and a stunning marble exterior. It's a calm place that offers a great opportunity for reflection and contemplation.

You need to be fit (quite the climb) and rich (ticket 9 euro) but the views are worth the effort. The mausoleum is spectaculair but the location and viewpoints are sublime.

A little exhausting hike up the stairs, but it is worth it. You will have to pay 3eur/person on the way up the hill in the woods for entering the national park, and 8eur/person halfway up the stairs to enter the mausoleum. You can park the car on the slope up to the restaurant.

Fascinating. You are basically able to see almost the whole of Montenegro from the top! Pretty physical as well, 491 steps to take to get to the top. They say it is more than 1800 metres, though my altimeter showed ~ more rgan 1600. Nice place!

Stunning views. It's one of the best views I've ever seen.
Great restaurant underneath. Such friendly owners.

A must-see when visiting Kotor.

Very beautiful Montenegrin tomb. It is the tallest in the world. There is 461 steps, so you better be prepared! Situated above Njegoš's native village of Njeguši, they built a new road. The entry fee is 8€ for adults and 4€ for kids. The road leading to the beautiful national park are full of breath-taking views and challenging ziplines. Would reccomend!

The viewpoint is absolutely stunning, and the mausoleum leaves a strong impression. It takes 438 stairs to reach the top (according to my daughters), and even my 8-year-old daughter managed to ascend without any difficulty.
