A fantastic bottle shop with an extensive range. The craft beer range includes a wide selection of independent breweries. Impressive sake selection as well. Staff are extremely helpful, friendly and charming. Bring back your plastic can clips and receive a 10 cent credit per clip.

A great local spot to purchase some tipple! The team is lovely, the shop is easily accessed by public transport (402 bus or a 5 minute walk from Macauley Station on the Upfield Line) and there is a wide range of product. I'm currently in a yuzushu phase and they have a excellent selection, much better than the big retailers. I particularly enjoy the Wakano Megumi Premium but I've also just picked up a fun new sea salt yuzushu as well. They have a very good Asian alcohol range. Plenty of craft beers, wine, gin, etc. as well.

I've recently come across this place, it's amazing. What makes it great is the team, they are warm and kind. I feel incredibly welcome, the free tastings are great. I love having a chat with the team and listening to them as they share their extensive knowledge. The store is always clean and beautifuly presented. Thank you!

Excellent service along with a fantastic range of wines, beers and spirits. Really great variety compared to the bigger brands with much better service and knowledge. Highly recommend the tastings on the weekends too! Definitely our favourite bottle shop.

Sessions North Melbourne is such a breath of fresh air compared to not only wine retailers but retail in general. The store is always immaculate, they have the ability to acknowledge every customer in a calm non forceful manner but also ensuring every customer is attended to timely. The team are all very knowledgeable with formal training, however are never intimidating or try to force their style on you. They really try to understand what you enjoy as best as they can. They also offer tastings on the weekend which create a fun experience where you can try a large variety of alcohol, anything from craft beer, sparkling sake and gin. There’s also dogs! Kumar is a wonderful addition, always dressed immaculately and very friendly. Even if you are not local sessions is worth travelling for.

Really great bottle shop and range! Bought some beers but the gin selection was amazing and apparently they'll provide little tastings if they have something open. The new favourite.

Such great service, and a very unique concept which I love. We went last weekend and were able to taste some French wine and Japanese sake. Such a wonderful experience in a local bottle shop.

Love this place. A bit painful on my wallet everytime I walk in but I still love it. :)

Great range. Even a solid Japanese beers selection, it's a pity it's so difficult to get Japanese craft out of the country.

Great selection of Japanese fruit liqueurs. Try the Taiheizan it's great. And their sake range is awesome. I heard they are even going to have a 'Nama' section with unpasteurised sakes soon.

It takes some balls to open a bottle shop ten seconds away from a BWS but these guys did, and they were busy! Bought a bottle of organic rose, impressive range of imports, enthusiastic staff, will be back. Cheers!

Just got back from this place, was a a pretty good experience! Sessions are personable and want to be part of the neighbourhood, dudes also care and know about what they're selling and work hard for the price point of the consumer from the sounds of things. I can't reel of prices... but seemed that lil bit cheaper than other places around, MTN goat steams for $20, GOAT v/goods for like $16-17. Going to hit up Paul when I want a brew from now on, suggest you do the same, also stick around for a chat, genuine good guys : ) they go in on the sake soju too, ask em about that

Sessions Arden is a truly impressive looking new bottleshop in North Melbourne. Great range of Craft Beers, Premium Whisky’s and Wine. Sure to be a hit with the locals.

Really like this place, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to them receiving their on-premise license.
