A great place to shop for vegetables, grocery, meat, small goods, drinks, and more. It sells simple meals, desserts, and nice to sit down for a snack after shopping. I have been told by some friends that the pizza is really good. I have to leave it till next visit to checkout.

There many varieties of beverages, including wines. The vegetables are well presented, so are the other items on the shelves.

The staff are courteous and even through I just browse and assessing the various aspects from the goods to customer service.

I am glad to this business with 5 stars.

These guys love food like only Italians can. Their pizza is excellent and very reasonably priced. And they have a frozen coffee that’s just the BEST!

This is a bit of a secured place still, but if you’re going to Pinewoods cinema, don’t miss this place across the road.

You won’t be disappointed.

‘Jack and Jill’ were cray cray with the pizza love tonight! My daughter and I popped in for a Squizzy at this Melbourne deli and what was even better than the $3.99 pizza freshly baked and the two randomly free donuts 🍩 was the extraordinary humour, good will and a godsend of customer service after their (and our) very long day. Marketa and Co. - Reason to move to Melbourne much?!

The fruit / vegetable specials were really good. Was nice they had food on the side too. Pizzas ready to eat.
Also they had milk that was priced the same as the big supermarkets so that was great too...

Would definitely visit again when in the area. Maybe when donating blood next.
They're just across from the blood donation centre.

Ok first I have to say the only reason I have 2 photos is because the rest of the time I was being made felt like a VIP.

We went to Marketa and Co just for some meatballs and a pizza for a Friday night. Planned to be home within the hour.

They had just opened their entertainment venue downstairs today and were told if we wanted a wine, we had to go down and buy one and come back up.

Little did I know my night would change, they had a private event and I went to get a wine. The two owners of the place told me not to worry about the pizza. They gave me a table at the function (which was by invite only) so for them to accommodate us was very special.

The night had live music (which was out of this world), great friendly staff behind and in front of the bar. I call them staff but they all were like one big happy family.

I'm not happy because they shouted a couple of drinks, that's understandable being opening night an all and it's good PR.

But just in general, treated me and my partner like we are life long friends, made sure we were always comfortable, made an effort to spend time with us and talk to us.

They introduced us to their family and friends too.

We ended up going home close to midnight.

This is called hospitality.

Ok that's a review of my night, but let's talk about Marketa and Co.

If you want Quality groceries, hot meals, fresh food from the deli, amazing coffee, a huge selection of quality wine, cheese.... I've just realised I could go on and on about this place. I'm just happy they arrived.

Please make a visit here, I promise you will return sooner than you know it..

I recently discovered this delightful shop. The best sausages. Very well priced fruit, veggies and deli. Definitely the deli - fresh and full of variety. And the smell of pizzas cooking is wonderful. Great coffee too. Staff are genuinely lovely people.

Staff are friendly, coffees are very cheap and delicious.
Speciality stock of meats and cheeses isn't close to anything else in the area.
It's a must stop shop if you're looking to entertain with a lovely array to satiate all pallets.

First time visiting store, and what a treat! There was live music, delicious food, and friendly and dedicated staff! We ordered 2 pizzas, both were very tasty with fresh ingredients. The crust was thin and perfect. They even offer halal!! A particular staff member, Elif, was very helpful. She was welcoming and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

A fantastic and characterful addition to Pinewood’s little shopping district.

The produce is great quality, has a wide variety and is priced extremely competitively. The deli counter is the best around. The mix of continental and Asian groceries is a nice touch, but the real star of the show is the hot food. The oxtail pasta was easily the best I’ve had!

You can tell the staff are still finding their rhythm, but you can also tell there’s a lot of love put into this place.

Edited/updated for two reasons:
1) Marketa now does pizza and they’re easily the best you’ll find in the area.
2) We catered our son’s birthday party with Marketa food. Sha (sorry if the spelling is wrong) was fantastic to deal with. Making the whole day stress free and the food as always was delicious. The felafel salad is a personal favorite of mine, and this is the best I’ve had.

Jack and Jill offered us the most incredible service! We were treated like royalty the second me entered the store, and had amazing chats with the staff. We were so grateful to get such an amazing deal on the Pizzas, as well! The food was beyond gourmet, and every single member of staff made us feel so welcome and loved. Only visiting Melbourne for a couple of days, and this was the most beautiful way to be welcomed back to this beautiful city. It’s been a really tough year for us, and this service and experience truly made us go home and wonder how we got so lucky to have such an authentic, generous and compassionate community. Thank you, the pizza is amazing and the company is even more so!!

Had a terrific experience at Marketa & Co last night. Johnny was fantastic. Went in there to purchase a bottle of wine and ended up having a great pizza and bringing home a free one. Also bought some lovely pasta sauce. Will definitely go back.

Found this store recently, what a find, it's fantastic.
The store itself has such a great variety of produce including fresh fruit and vegetables, pasta's and a multitude of other goods and so reasonably priced.
Pizza's, where to start, they are so delicious and certain times they are special prices.
The location and parking are great too.
My new favourite store.

The best meatballs in town! Absolutely delicious, along with their panini’s. So much variety makes it hard to choose. Congratulations on your Monash Business Award. Very well deserved.

Am always buying Coffee and Cakes and Paninis for the kids. They love it.
Have also had two of my kids birthdays at the Restaurant ,Johnny and staff would have to be the most generous and caring Hosts the Food and Service always impresses.

Had my dad’s 50th birthday downstairs at Cantina e cucina. Food was amazing, there was a wide selection and the service was fantastic. There was also an amazing live band who played a variety of music. Highly recommend organising your next function here. Will definitely re visit!

Best pizza's in the SE suburbs! Thin base with 'real' food toppings literally straight from the market. Fill your baskets up with quality groceries while your pizza is cooking. And to top it all off, the pricing is SO affordable and will keep you coming back! Thanks for the delish experience, will definitely be back again :)

Came here for Lolita’s 17th birthday and had a really nice night. Food was served quickly and tasted really nice. Service was very efficient and staff were friendly. Definitely recommend.

Best pizza on this side of town.
Toppings are fresh, all in the right proportions and pizza is made from scratch. There is none of that dry, shredded, processed ham that you find on mainstream pizzas.
Specials are a bonus!

Relax with family indoors - surrounded by a tapestry of colour and delicious smells from the deli and the fresh fruit and vegetables.

This is a brilliant experience. Pick up fresh groceries and deli items and then sit down to a top rate yet affordable meal. Try one of the many sumptuous pizza cooked to perfection.

Although Marketa & Co don’t YET have high chairs for babies/toddlers, staff are kind, gentle and helpful. They were happy to wash a punnet of strawberries we had bought so my toddler could get their fruit fix.
