Coles Pinewood

Well I was surprised at the inside. All the usual offerings from Coles I expect. I think it needs an update though, looking pretty shabby from the outside!! 🤔

I like the smaller size as I have walking issues some days, this is the best sized coles for me, wish all supermarkets were this size as it's a pain to walk long distances sometimes. They seem to have most things that a bigger one would have.

Im a regular here and I love their customer service. But

I went in today and saw so many rude customers. One asked a staff member If she was deaf saying cant you see I've been driving trucks all day like it was her fault. (Its not). But the staff smiled and told him to have a lovely day. He stormed off.

Another customer got upset because he was told he couldn't go into the self serve with a trolley. He started going off at the poor staff for doing her job and doing what she was told to do. She was doing a lovely job.

Then another came in asking about a gift card. The staff said just a sec as she was sanitizing a self serve area and the customer stormed off saying something rude. The staff tried to help her but she walked off.

I do understand that it's been a hell of a year but on behalf of those rude people I'm so very sorry. You are all amazing at your jobs. This happened all in the 5 to 10 minutes I was waiting for my click and collect.

Please know that you are all appreciated for all that you do in our supermarkets. Thank you so much.

Really convenient place to shop. It's not the largest store, and doesn't have the selection of some of the bigger stores. But they have everything you need to do a weekly shop, and it's always done hassle free and really fast. The staff are friendly and really helpful.
They recently did an overhaul of the layout to align more with all the other stores. Takes a little bit to get used too, but overall i think it is a better design.

Easy to access, plenty of products and great friendly staff..

The only thing with this Coles,shop seems SML, but I am sure that they have just the same az other stores in land of Coles, I do my shopping there and it opens up at 6:30am,I prefer to shop early in the morning

A great neighborhood feeling at this store.

This store's staffs are very honest. I forgot to pick up my cash out once at the self check out area. The attending staff at the time took it to lost and found service area. When I called 3hrs later I got my money back after proving items I purchased with cash out.

Very friendly and helpful staff

Endorsing a supermarket isn’t something I have done before as I often feel for the independent grocer, bakery, butcher etc.
BUT the customer service you receive here reminds you that a coles can be your local too.
It doesn’t take long to be on first name basis with the friendly staff and the customer service alone is the reason I come. if I moved house I would still come back here to do my shopping. Well done pinewood.. keep it up

Small Coles compared to the size of other stores, so it might not have niche items that you're after. E.g. No party goods section as of the time of this review. Plenty of parking though, and there are also a lot of shops nearby to compliment the Coles such as $2 shops and Asian grocers.

Better for quick shipping visits. You'll need coins or tokens to unlock trollies. Usually not crowded and no waiting queues. As this is located at pinewood shopping centre, enough parking spaces are available.

Great store, nice and big, very clean and great staff.

Friendly staff and easy to find what you need. Store set out well. And you can take cash out at checkout without getting charged those annoying bank fees... 🤔
