Squeaky Gate Farm Shop

Just off the highway, Kew is a little town and Squeaky Gate Farm Shop is a lovely place to stop, refresh with something to eat and drink and then browse the food and homeware gifts on sale. Had the roast beef, vintage cheese and in-house truffle mustard toastie - it was delicious. Can also recommend the ham, vintage, cheese, tomato and in-house tomato relish toasties as well as the chicken pie.

We stopped here for brunch on our drive back to Brisbane from Tuncurry-Forster. It is a very convenient stop in Kew, NSW, just off the Pacific Highway. There is virtually no detour needed. It met all our expectations based on the 4.8 rating on Google. My daughter had the roast beef sandwich while I had the roasted vegetables option. We had coffee and chai latte with our meal. My sandwich definitely hit the spot. We also purchased a dozen Totally Free Range eggs which I am eager to try soon. All in all a very satisfying quick stop.

If you are driving up or down the coast, forget stopping at those huge petrols stations packed with travellers. Stop into the town of Kew and stop at the Squeaky Gate. Great place

We had the most beautiful toasties and banana bread and couldn’t help but buy some of the delicious “house” tomato relish. It’s hard to believe that a toastie could leave such an impression on us, but seriously - we couldn’t stop saying how yum it was all the way home to Sydney. Lovely staff and lovely gifts to purchase too - we found the perfect gift for our dog-sitting friends! We’ve made it our new thing to stop in on our way home from Nambucca heads from now on. Thank you for your wonderful, charming cafe!

Great little place to stop in Kew less than a minute from the pacific highway. Quaint little shop with jams, oils, relishes and delicious sandwiches, scones, snacks and fantastic coffee. Super friendly as wel.

It was a quick stop to give our baby a break from our road trip but what a perfect stop! Beautiful coffee, service and shop!

A beautiful little space to enter into with THE best Chai since leaving QLD and the freshest pies and sausage rolls. Definately worth stopping in to see friendly faces!!

Have shopped here many times since they opened but they have recently started serving coffee and light lunch so went to check it out with a friend. Went for coffee ☕ which is awesome and ended up staying for lunch. Always made to feel welcome here. 🤗 Heaps of local produce to purchase in the store as well. A few bits of furniture, homewares and gifts. Well worth a visit.

What a wonderful shop! I stayed at the nearby pub and had a takeaway breakfast from here! It was delicious and used the freshest produce! Also loved their recyclable packaging.👍The shop has a beautiful range of homewares. Well worth a visit!

A friend recommended this place to me. So glad I took her advice. Dropped in for a quick look but ended up staying for a good coffee, a feed and a left with a bag of goodies too. Lovely service and plenty of local produce. See you again soon!

Great stop: close to the highway, great coffee. Lots of tasty looking lunch or snack options. Also lots of artisan breads, cheese etc. Beautiful homewares. Worth a look and can be a quick roadtrip stop.
