Rising Sun Hotel

We had a group of 35 for dinner on Friday night. Everyone remarked on the great quality of the food. The meals, the service and the prices were excellent. Thank you to the chef, kitchen and service staff. Much appreciated. Definitely 5 star.

Good feed at a reasonable price. Nice cold beer too.
Looks rough on the outside, sort of like the Adams Family, but lovely and friendly inside 😊

It always amazes me that you can get a better seafood basket in the country than at some over popular cafe on the coast

We returned for lunch the past week yet again, & were not disappointed. The weekly specials board is always wonderful to read & try out. 2 of us had the zucchini fritters & they were amazing especially the accompanying beetroot relish. my other friend had the basil chicken pasta & cheesy garlic bread & she said it was so yummy. we have become regulars since the new chef started 2 months ago & haven't been disappointed once. the service & meals are always outstanding. well done.

Classic small town pub, needs renovations too save the awesome old building. Staff always friendly and attentive.

Lovely place to grab a quick cold beer between running your weekend errands. We had 2 well behaved dogs with us and they didn't seem to mind. Rosewood is a gorgeous country town and is worth a visit.

My husband and I from Gold Coast have just had the best beer battered fish, clips and salad at the Rising Sun hotel bistro. Portions ample, nothing from a packet and cooked to perfection, the salad as fresh as. Thank you chef .

Great country hotel atmosphere. Had lunch there and the meals were big and hearty. The meat raffel was on and just added to the great vibe in the bar.

Wonderful meal, great service. Well priced. One of the few places who know how to select good cuts of meat for cooking. Steak was cooked to perfection.

Excellent pub. Always a top quality feed and considerably large size. Bar staff are friendly and very eager to ensure that you certainly have a good time whilst attending the Rising Sun hotel. The Bundy rum flows in cascades down your throat as well as the XXXX. This pub has a very friendly atmosphere and it is far too easy to thoroughly enjoy yourself. All the local people are very easy to get along with and certainly enjoy engaging in conversation on just about any topic. Usually the footy. So that certainly keeps me enthralled. When you find yourself in this part of Australia, drop in for a few beers. You'd be mad if you didn't.

Took a large group there to dine for Sunday lunch. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food was excellent and great value too.

Nice friendly pub, good staff, food delicious make sure you check the special's board. A courtesy bus to get there and back (limited range of course) just ask the staff.

Great name for a country pub. Service was very good, and the crumbed steak with chips for lunch was an excellent find! Highly recommended.

Never judge a book by it's cover! Just had the most perfect meal! Try it asap..chef is awesome :)

Had lunch at the Rising Sun lovely food quiet atmosphere lovely staff they are all friendly its a lovely pub with great food staffed by lovely friendly people which is pretty rare these days .... and believe me you wont go hungry .....I look forward to business lunches there soon :)
