I was looking for a cheap slide drop saw to work on my weatherboard project and it was hard to find anyone with both stock and a decent price. Womersley's answered the call promptly, got someone to ring me back who was knowledgeable and understood I didn't need a high end saw I just needed a handyman thing and they not only had this beast in stock it was even reduced. She talked me through setting it up over the phone to get the best out of it. Pick up was easy, they brought the saw and the eft machine out to the car in the carpark. Seamless and simple. Very polite friendly staff making the best of a difficult time. They dealt well with the two grumpy people who turned up who somehow don't know the world is different now and helped them get what they needed.

What a breath of fresh air, especially compared to their main competitor. FANTASTIC customer service, really trying to help you out. The staff I encountered at the trade desk were knowledgeable and the transaction such a breeze. I've had to now go and buy timber and and plaster products for a reno and it's just a world of difference to where I use to usually go. The team are doing a really great job.

Many thanks to Barbara and the team at this store. Barbara went beyond my expectations. Helped me get the product I needed. After visiting two opposition stores with little or no help. She made phone calls, checked her shelving after I was finally able to give her the name of the particular product. Read out the purpose of the product and what it consisted of to make sure it was what I was looking for. She was polite on the phone. Mitre Ten you need more stores locally. I’d shop at a mitre ten over an opposition any day. You’re also cheaper. I’m happy to drive the distance however for service like this. Keep up the good work

Lately I ordered belt sender. I expected to wait at least couple of days which would be totally acceptable. To my amazement I received my order next morning. Thanks guys. I will definitely consider shopping with you with my next tool purchase.

I've never been to Mitre 10 and I was surprised that it's easy to shop there for a non handy person. Got helpful advice and another item that I thought I'd get elsewhere. Thanks!

Has everything you need for diy projects

The team at Mitre 10 were more than happy to help with my query of having a custom paint made and having a specific key cut. Both products were exactly what I needed. Will be going back and supporting them.

I purchased an angle grinder at this store yesterday. Staff at the store were attentive and respectful, and the fellow specialising in tools took the time to give me detailed instruction, demonstrating how to affix the guard and blade. He also offered much-appreciated usage and safety advice. At the checkout, it was pleasing to be served by a human cashier rather than self-serve. Encountering welcoming and knowledgeable staff made the transaction easy and pleasant.

Went into Mitre 10 today and had fantastic service from everyone I spoke to. The guy in the tool shop was very helpful and talked me through a number of different bits and pieces. It is definitely my preferred hardware store now.

Had a really lovely experience on the weekend. Contacted Mitre 10 and was offered Call & Collect service from the Womersley team. Left my request and contact details and hoped I would hear back eventually. Received a call back and was able to finalise my purchase with Contactless pick up within the hour. The staff were extremely helpful, and followed up the next day to check that my purchase had been completed satisfactorily. Great work team, above and beyond.
