What a brilliant store. Chris is an expert and makes you feel very welcome. Has a great range of instruments that are fairly priced too. Very satisfied with my new mandolin! Definitely recommend.

I flew to Melbourne to try a specific guitar at Guitars Plus. I ended up buying a great ES-335 with an Ebony finish. It sounds like Larry Carlton and everybody who plays it begs me to sell it to them. It’s the greatest guitar I’ve every played and I paid $2,600 for it in 1996 (a great price. I still play it). I searched for 16 years for the right 335 and I found it by accident at Guitars Plus. The gave me a good price and did a great setup. I go into Guitars Plus whenever I’m in Melbourne. 😁👍

What a wonderful business! Not only do they have excellent guitars and outstanding advice and service, the whole experience felt like an excursion of Melbourne musical history. I bought an excellent and very well priced guitar for my 8yo daughter, they even did me a special favour and had a local store properly wrap it for me.
Sorry I found this store so late in my guitar hobby, but will definitely be back!

Took my much loved, but little played Maton guitar to Chris and because I'm in my late 60s I was finding it too painful too play with all steel strings so he suggested composite steel and silk strings and hey presto I'm enjoying playing again, he's very friendly and knows his stuff, highly recommended. Chris is possibly the most knowledgeable and passionate guitar aficionados in Australia ... and certainly in Melbourne. Even a visit to the shop is time well spent but bring your wallet coz there's some great bargains to be had as well.

Great guitar shop in Sandringham these guys really know their stuff👌highly reccomended from beginners to pro level easy parking straight out the front and very close to Hobsons in case you need some dutch courage before splashing out the bucks on a new axe 😃

Old world guitar shop owned by knowledgeable enthusiasts. Great selection of really cool instruments. If I owned a guitar shop, I would hope it would be like this. Warm and friendly.
