Ultra Football

This place is pretty incredible if you're a soccer enthusiast. I prefer to call it football, though.

I went here looking for a specific pair of socks for the 5-6 YO Melbourne Victory kit. The staff were really friendly.

The store is split into 4 main sections. A cafe, the first side of the retail area, the incredible pitch and the back area which is also for retail. There's a warehouse, that must be like the theatre of dreams.

I'm thinking of going back to get a football. Maybe they let you test them on the pitch and I'll get my pair of Beckambaurs out.

I believe you can hire the pitch for parties.

The most beautiful sports shop I've ever visited. It's like Disney World for football fans and I'm so glad to have it in my neighbourhood. Its café (Panenka) is great too.

I've bought many shirts from Ultra Football over the years, including via delivery before the Gipps St store opened, and they've all been top quality.

The only issue I've had recently is with their unreliable click and collect service. One of my problem orders was as simple as an Australia shirt during the Women's World Cup, where I still needed to wait 10 business days. I recommend only buying in-store if you can.

And a tip for anyone who has an 'Unfulfilled' order and doesn't seem to get any response to messages: their email replies have the subject line "[Support] Re: New customer message", with no clear mention of Ultra Football, so they typically look like Spam.

But I otherwise still love what they do and how they do it.

I couldn't recommend Ultra Football enough, not only did they send my order (a whole team of shirts with names and numbers on them) within a few days of the order, they fixed up a very minor error with one shirt straight away. Customer service is top notch and I am so super happy! Thank you so much!

I visited Ultra Football in Melbourne and was blown away by just about everything there!

They have everything nailed on to the finest detail nothing left untouched. Even the change room doors have the names of European and South American football stadiums on them. A really nice touch.

What’s more, they even have a barber shop, an awesome cafe and a 5 a side football cage to name just a few more of the gems on show. It’s more than a store, it’s an experience that goes above and beyond.

The stock is wide and varied too. From South American sides to Asian and European teams along with others closer to home, there are some fantastic buying options to cover pretty much all needs.

Their prices are more than competitive and their staff are all well versed in the game and great for conversation. 👍

I went back again a day later and even with different staff on, they were still just as passionate and excited about their work. I got a shirt with a name and number for my step son and he was so excited when I returned back to our hotel room with it.

I’ve bought a few things online with their Sydney store in the past and will look forward to buying more again.

These guys did an amazing job getting a personalised jersey to me in Tassie in time for Christmas, I don't think I've ever had anything arrive from the Mainland within 3 business days, let alone something personalised! So impressed, and really appreciated the extra effort with Christmas. And now I'm back to sort all the essentials for junior's next season, and some of his buddies' birthday presents. Great one stop shop!

Just ordered some new boots from Ultra and have to say, impressed with the quickness of the delivery! I ordered from interstate late on a Friday and had them by Wednesday morning! Will definitely be coming back! We come to Melbourne often so will visit in store too if we can.

I ordered 4 items, one of which didn’t come with the package received and i emailed the support team explaining what had happened and they were extremely proactive with helping me out. support team were really clear with explaining everything and first thing the morning after the package came i received an email in regards to the missing package and within a couple of hours was issued a refund. great service!

When I arrived at the store, there were only 10 minutes left until closing time. I came to pick up the jerseys I had previously ordered, but when I placed the order, there was no team logo printed on them. Thankfully, I encountered two incredibly efficient store employees, Jeevan and Zayne. Not only did they quickly retrieve the reserved jerseys from the warehouse, but they also managed to print the logos on them within a few minutes. They got everything sorted out before 5 pm. The service at this store is absolutely fantastic! A special thanks to Jeevan and Zayne; you guys are truly amazing. An excellent store paired with excellent employees, a perfect combination!

Never expected a football store can be family friendly! Loved everything there and staffs are super helpful & friendly! Was fun to play the games and enjoy the coffee as well! Don’t know what else I can expect! Oh can get hair cut as well!

It’s such a great space in Melbourne. Rating would have been a lot lower if they hadn’t helped me out when I had a small issue (sent out order without putting the customisation on my top). Customer service worked with me and I went into the store and was helped quickly without issues.

Amazing customer service. I contacted them about a fault with a product & had the issue resolved & a credit issued within hours of them receiving the product back in the post.

Let me say i rarely am impressed by retailers but Ultrafootball customer service team went over and beyond to sort out a problem where Adidas denied any responsibility. They saw the problem and realised it was un-Australian to deny the claim. They also had the product delivered to me all within a couple of emails communication. You passed the pub test! Great experience and i will be back again to shop!

If you want anything soccer related including the latest additions in boots, balls, jersey etc then look no further in Melbourne. Just got blown away by the stuff under one roof. The staff are next level- very helpful and knowledgeable plus they are also soccer players for leading clubs. Got lots of stuff including the Mbabe Nike Zoom Mercurial SuperFly 9 Elite KM FG. Very clean toilets plus lots of change rooms and all other try outs including game rooms etc. Merchandise is not cheap but not too expensive either. They have a Cafe too in front of the store. Will return.

Ultra Football are amazing. We ordered boots but were contacted to say they were out of stock. Instead, we were offered the opportunity to UPGRADE boots for no extra cost! And they express posted. We are SO IMPRESSED.
