Best op shop in Melbourne. Have been going here for years and always find so many great finds!

You can find everything here. Clothes, furniture, sportswear. I find this salvo is cheaper than any other store I went! So many stocks to choose from and good brand in good condition. I’d definitely go back regularly to hunt for rare find! After shopping can just take a walk by Yarra river or go to lentils as anything in Abbotsford convent. Happy days.

LOVE this salvos! Always has the best designer/vintage items! Fair prices, even better with student discount on Wednesday! I always spy reseller’s here so you know it’s a good spot. Its a NFP so i know whatever i spend has a positive impact on my community. :)

The team of staff and volunteers at Salvos Abbotsford are brilliant. In clearing out our mother's house, we wanted to make a donation of furniture and household items to an op shop. I rang Salvos Abbotsford, and spoke to a brilliant member of the team. After sending them a full list of the items for donation, we arrived today, and the team had made space, and - despite the huge amount of unplanned donations that they have to process on a weekly basis - were ready to accept everything. I strongly urge people wishing to make large donations to contact the store and schedule the delivery. The work that the team does must be exhausting, yet they are friendly, courteous, and so understanding to deal with. #loveyourlocalopshop

Awesome thrift spot! High-quality pieces at great prices. The shoe section is divine and they have a cool "retro" rack in the front of vintage stuff. Got a lovely linen dress, a tank top, and a pretty ring for $34 AUD.

One of my favourite places to op shop. A great place to find bargains, vintage wear or a new lamp or desk. Friendly staff as well. Can get busy in the weekends especially late in the afternoon.

Easy to get there and drop off from the back of the car without having to find parking and drag the bags to the warehouse

I managed to find a parking spot out the front the other day yay!!
I wanted to drop off an unused foot brace and a couple of country road cushions but having multiple sclerosis and mobility issues struggled to grab items and focus on not tripping or falling

This is my favourite Salvos store in Melbourne. The store is presentable, the clothes are usually great quality, the books are high in volume but also in variety and the staff are very helpful. I've found several gems there that keep me coming back. Their furniture selection is also great and I've been eyeing a few things for my next visit. Check this place out, it's in a great area and a bike ride away from the city!

I’ve just discovered the BEST OP SHOP filled with incredible little treasures!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes the clothes are with super cool, everything from hipster street wear, glam and high-end designers. I needed a new wardrobe, and was assisted by a kind and friendly lady Renee. She sure knows her stuff when it comes to styling! I didn’t even have to say much before she zipped around the store and presented me with an array of clothes that I absolutely loved! I was blown away and highly recommend a trip to this treasure chest. Everything is well sorted, easily to navigate and the staff are incredibly helpful. You’ll leave with the biggest smile in your face and helping a worthwhile charity. It’s a WIN WIN .

Super Salvo's Store! This is the store where you can drop off large items around the back - couches, boxes of books, etc and smaller items can be left in the bins out the front. This is the best salvo's store as it's huge - think the Bunnings of Op Shops! So many clothes! The volunteers and staff here do a great job sifting, sorting and hanging! There's also furniture, decor items, jewellery, bags, shoes, kitchen utensils, kids stuff, bikes, suitcases, vases, ...... endless. You could spend hours here. You could definitely furnish and outfit your living space from this store. Highly recommend at least a visit.

Very huge store with many things for your apartment or clothes, cheap prices!

I owe it to myself to try and visit this place as much as I can into 2018 and beyond but sometimes I rarely get the time and it's kinda hard to find let alone get too and I actually found this store by accident last year while trying to find the dreaded Lentil As Anything site as they are actually fairly near one another via the back parkway cat walk and the new current manager is a true A-class gentleman!!! One of the best, well missed..!

One of the better stores for furniture. If you're off to uni this place will have a cheap desk and furniture for you. + if you don't find what you want Ikea is down the road. Great staff. Ask for a deal as the prices are a bit high for second hand IMO.

We love to visit the Abbotsford Salvo Store as they have such a large amount of space and so many different items on sale. Staff are always helpful and willing to not only answer our questions but to also offer advice as to other alternative items for us to consider. Parking is good in the area and we can take our time to fossick for bargains. Prices can be at the higher end for excellent collectibles but this is understandable as the whole purpose of the store is to raise money for all of the activities of the Salvation Army charities. Yes, we shall return and we recommend this store for clothing, bedding, mattresses, furniture, electrical goods and (for me) lots of books arranged alphabetically, by Author.

Fantastic place. Always have a ton of interesting stuff at super low price. It's all pre-owned stuff, of course, but you can find really good furniture and household items. And the money goes to a good cause!

This store is amazing. I've dropped off so much furniture and clothes over the years and the volunteer staff work their butts off. I wish them all the very best. What a great service.

the prices are still cheaper than other antique stores and depop. always happy to come in and get a bargain.

I have been there 2 times coz my partner said here is great to find furniture and lot of stuff.. Im happy there find lot of stuff and cheap.. and good condition.. happy to go again and already told friend to try.. 👍🏻
