What a local gem!
We are so glad we looked up somewhere to eat breakfast in Stanwell Park and came across The Loaf Cafe and the google reviews. We sat out the back amongst the birds, plants and flowers and were pleasantly surprised when the food arrived! The chicken club sandwich was massive and full of flavour and even the bacon and egg roll was enjoyed. Coffee is on point too!
Great staff and an awesome chef!
Don’t let the small seating section at the front put you off thinking that there is no where else to sit as the courtyard out the back has plenty of tables and easily accessible via a big ramp!
We would totally recommend this cafe and can’t wait to visit again when we are in the area.

Went to the beach nearby with friends and had lunch at Loaf cafe. It was a pleasant surprise to find a spacious sitting area and playground in the back, which sat 13 of us comfortably. Miss 11 had a kids' fish and chips - very generous for a kids' meal - while my little one wanted French toast. It came out looking so pretty! She was delighted. I had a freshly cooked Big Breakfast, and it hit the spot. The standout was the burger - so delicious and fresh that we ate it before I managed to take a photo. Beautiful ambience, friendly and prompt service. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

We had breakfast here while on our way to Jervis Bay. The food here was fantastic. We had the following dishes.

1. Eggs Benny - (4.8/5)
Amazingly well made. The sourdough was toasted to perfection, the eggs and the hollandaise was right amount of creamy and the dish was quite delicious.

2. Big breakfast- (4.7/8)
Again lots of elements and all cooked well. The h hash brown was really crispy and cooked well.

3. Avo toast - (4/5)
It was good and wholesome. The dish does not come with eggs as default, and was kind of okayish. But the sourdough were toasted well, quantity was good - could add more elements to it .

4. Hot Chocolate- (4/5)
Was good, not great. Let’s say I have had better hot chocie than this.

All in all a great place to plan your brekkie in Stanwell tops - recommended!

We stopped here to have brunch on the way to jervis bay. The karaage chicken sambo was really really yum! Nice sitting area at the back behind the cafe. Good coffee too! My partner and I and the little one enjoyed our meal here!

Beautiful little cafe near the beach. The staff were super friendly. We just came by for a road trip from Sydney. I was very happy we came here. The food was delicious and the portions for decent size. It was an excellent experience and the quality produce they use it second to none. If anyone is in the area I would defiantly recommend this place with closed eyes. I had a big breakfast and it was the best I had in Australia so far. Loved it and will be back for it ❤

Really lovely spot to include on a trip along the coast!

Loaf had some incredible food, typical Australian breakfast stuff but really high quality ingredients. The only downside was that it took a long time to come out, but they were busy so that's fair enough.

Coffees were well presented and good, though nothing exceptional.

Round the back is a bunch of outdoor seating and an awesome fenced off play area for the kids filled with toys and activities, a really amazing inclusion!

They have several highchairs, but some desperately need a deep clean / replace so pick wisely!

Come here every few weeks for coffee after our morning run in the area across the sea cliff bridge. Coffee is good and so is the Granola. Very nice part of the world

LOAF is independently owned and operated by local entrepreneurs; Annaleigh Grace Sturmann and Kirsty Lissa and is built on the philosophy that fresh is best! They first tried their hand at the cafe game in Cronulla and after a roaring success have set up shop in Stanwell Park.

Loaf has jumped on board with the NSW Governments Dine and Discover voucher program so what better time to check them out when you get $25 of your meal paid for by Gladys!!

We headed in for breakfast on a Wednesday morning. Kids and dog in tow we were greeted by friendly staff at the cafe’s shopfront. They directed us to the rear of the venue which opens to a very pleasant alfresco area complete with kids play area and they are dog friendly!! Already off to a winning start!

After a quick perusal of the menu we ordered our breakfast fare, coffees and a smoothy for the kid’s.

Meals arrived a short time later and the servings were generous and represented good value for money. Presentation is great and the food fresh and skilfully prepared.

The stand out meal was the Big Boy Roll. Think of a bacon and egg roll with the addition of crunch slaw, pickles and zesty mayo. The result is a very tasty creation that tastes somewhere between a cheese burger and a egg and bacon roll. It has a very American feel to it and served with a golden hash brown it went down a treat!

The brekky burrito was packed with eggs, bacon, stringy cheese, mushrooms and a hash brown! A zesty mayo gives this hearty meal a spicy kick. Delicious!

The egg and bacon roll was as described and served on a fresh roll. There was no skimping on the crispy bacon or eggs.

The avocado on toast comes with two slices of sourdough topped with sliced (not smashed... thank you!!) avocado and charred leek. The addition of candied chilly, lime amd basil oil bring a run of the mill dish to the next level. The chilly packs a hot punch so if you don’t like it hot it would pay to let the kitchen know when you order.

The white horse coffee is a perfectly roasted bean expertly transformed into delicious cups of dark gold. The cap, flat and tall black we had were all on point and rounded off a very enjoyable meal.

Loaf has a range of house made sweets and slices and the peppermint and ginger slice we tried was rich and delicious.

The kids slurped up all of their banana smoothies that we were confidently informed were great!

Loaf is definitely worth the drive and should be on your list of go to cafes when you are in and around Stanwell Park.

Thanks for a lovely brekky!

Great cafe, super friendly staff. Love the back outdoor seating area - there’s a kids play area too which I thought was a nice touch. Coffee’s amazing and food looks and tastes great. 100% recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

A friend who lives locally recommended this place and we are so pleased they did. Great vibe, lovely space and amazing food. We loved the dog/child friendly courtyard, there's even a cubby house for the kids. Coffee was very good, service was super friendly and the food was next level delicious. In fact we enjoyed our visit so much, we promised ourselves to return, worth travelling from Sydney, enjoying brunch and making a day of it.

They do the most amazing sandwiches! We got the ham sandwich and it was super creamy and the bread was soft and delicious to eat. Their sandwich is quite large so you could share one between two people.

Their fries are fresh out of the fryer with chicken salt, and I can attest their fries are THE BEST. Idk what kind of technique or special potato they use but they are dreamy.

Portion sizes are immense so keep that in mind, we loved both dishes we tried. Their iced coffees were also not too sweet which is exactly what we were searching for. Lots of seating available in the rear.

Awesome cafe we found on our way back to Sydney from Wollongong!! The Rainbow sandwich was unreal and bursting with flavour, Breakfast Burrito was also very delicious. The coffee was roasted to perfection. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a feed, but also totally worth it to go out of your way, you won’t be disappointed. We will be back!!

Nice coffee and food. Liked the atmosphere of the area. They put basil pesto on top of every food? 🙂
