Mike Dwyer Reserve

A good stop to have a small picnic with friends and family after a visit to Stanwell Tops/Baldhill Lookout and Sea Cliff Bridge. Sweeping views of crystal clear and beautiful blue waters great for clicking pics. Has decent amount of parking but can get really busy on weekends and other public holidays. Dogs allowed on a leash. Great time to visit if its sunny.

Lovely view over the ocean, limited parking weekends but ok week days. A bench chair or two here to stop a while.

Small but nice lookout. Small parking area with no public restrooms. No shaded area so be prepared. We spent the afternoon at nearby beach and walked there, awesome view.

It’s a pleasant location with great views of the ocean and the beach next to it..good place to stop by and relax while in your way to/from Wollongong.

Sweeping views of the ocean very quiet location

Amazing view. Visited around sunset. Drive was enjoyable. I took the drive through the national park which was very beautiful. I would recommend to visit during the weekday so it’s not that busy or full of crowd.

You can see rabbits hopping around as well.

I like the monument. That's the best bit about this view. (Other than the sea).

Small carpark available, around 10 spots. Nice relaxing look out spot of the water. Located high up and its a good view. You can lie on the grass or theres a bench nearby.

Loved it, such a relaxing place to stay, has the convenience of being within walking distance to town and everything you'll need for your stay .

As we came into the reserve the first thing that caught our eyes was the statue honoring Mike Dwyer, beautifully rendered wings or gold. The second thing was the strange nature of the flat rock face leading into the ocean, and finally the powerful crashing of the waves, sometimes with enough force to reach four meters into the air!
