Sunshine Beach General Store

Perfect little general store very close to the beach with many wonderful items. Friendly staff and excellent service. Thank you for all of your help!

tl; dr: Convenient and intersting

Of course their prices are higher than that of Colesworth, but they're a tiny store on the beach front! In addition to your usual Paul's brand milk, bread and nappies, what's interesting is that they also carry good quality local produce, such as products from Eumundi meats, lcoally produced frozen foods and Melaney milk, not just the run of the mill, mass produced Black and Gold items that is generally found in small corner stores.

Certainly worth ducking in to have a look if you're in the neighbourhood and need something quick and frozen for dinner.

Stopped in on a bike ride to grab a piece of fruit. Very friendly. Told me not to worry about paying for the banana I grabbed. Cheers champ!

It is a general store not a supermarket, therefore the prices are a bit higher then usual but they have good selection amd friendly service

If IGA is 10% more than Woolies, this store is 15% more than IGA.

Convenient yes. Though expensive

over priced shop that has essentials but very pricey 1L milk almost $5 and, nearly $50 for the cheapest packet of 20 cigarettes where coles is $29?!

Overcharged and when pointed out the ticketed price, no apology or refund of difference was offered. Won’t be back.

Extortion you could say woolies here I come!

Very rude owner/manager. We had three items, she processed two of them and then started having a long conversation with one of her staff while we waited. No apology or anything afterwards, not even any eye contact. Then she rang up the third item, quoted the price, we paid and said goodbye, the woman said nothing at all. Rude. Italian guy at Fratellini a few shops down was super nice, so it can't have been anything funny in the air that day...hmm

I just grabbed a water bottle at the back of the fridge and the “very friendly” store worker told me
‘That is the dumbest thing that I have ever seen!’
