Highly recommend! Such a beautiful store, you can instantly see how well the plants are taken care of. The owner is an absolute pleasure to talk to, very knowledgeable about plants and just a lovely human being. The prices are also extremely reasonable, I was expecting to pay a lot more due to the quality. If you are after some indoor plants, I cannot recommend highly enough.

I had the best experience utilising the online store! I sent a photo of the location I was wanting a plant for and got given recommendations. Placed my order and the delivery was packed up beautifully. And not only did I get my gorgeous new plant, I also received a free air plant with my order. If that’s not service, I don’t know what is! This is one of my favourite stores in Melbourne. If you're someone who loves supporting small businesses, this is a must visit Filipino/Family/Female owned jewel on the tiny suburb of Maidstone. Darlene, the owner, is so kind and passionate about the products they sell of local creatives. The store is always stocked with stunning ceramics, lush plants, and gorgeous homewears. Often, on arrival, you're greeted with a toothie grin of baby Aoife who takes pride in their own creative endeavours (chalk drawings on the pavement outside at the front of the store).

I've bought a couple of plants twice via their online website. The ordering process and delivery is smooth and easy (great photos on the website) and all plants delivered are packaged with care, always lush and exactly like what is portrayed on the website. It shows that they have a carefully selected and amazing range and I haven't even set foot in the store. I'm always sussing out their website and IG to see what I can buy next!

I loved visiting Tahanan. The products are amazing quality and the plants are good variety and lively. The shop owner is so welcoming and so are her little ones. I felt right at home.

Entering the wonder that is Green Empire is like a journey into a lush, warm and sunny jungle - a celebration of all things green and natural. Darlene has selected a gorgeous range of plants, styled the shop magnificently and is extremely lovely to interact. Such that I bought 6 different plants within a week.

Make the time to venture into Green Empire - it's worth it to meet and chat with the lovely plant enthusiast Darlene - and it will very quickly become one of your favourite nurseries! Otherwise you can shop online (fantastic website and photos!) and take advantage of their delivery (within the delivery zone) or pick up service during these COVID times.

Once again green empire has exceeded my expectations. Their store is beautiful and the owner is lovely. I ordered some plants for mothers day and it was delivered on mothers day morning! Great service. I would highly recommend Green Empire to anyone.

I'm so happy with my new plant babies!! The owners are so lovely with exceptional customer service - even taking my phone call out of work hours to answer my questions and offer advice. The plants are gorgeous & I will be coming to them for any of my indoor jungle needs in the future.

Awesome customer service and range of plants to choose from. I bought a devils ivy which is in beautiful condition and picked it via for click and collect within the hour. Will definitely be buying indoor plants from here again.

Darlene and Amos are the loveliest people who knows their plants inside out and have tremendous passions for their love of their flora...
