What a beautiful area to bike in! The bike was really nice, felt as new with good light parts. Chris the owner is also really nice, helped me with some routes en brought and picked up the bike from my resort.

Absolutely incredible cycling experience! We booked 2 days of guided riding while in town and it couldn’t have been better. The bikes, the landscapes, and of course, our guide, Irv- it was all amazing. If you are traveling to Byron Bay and love cycling then this is a must!

We just had the most unbelievable weekend with these guys. I am not a bike rider but I felt safe and motivated the whole time. Thank you Alice for helping me learn the gears and Chris for directing and stopping cars in their tracks. The legs got a real work out and the views were spectacular. Lunch was definitely earned. Highly highly recommend.

Absolutely loved the 2018 Italy cycling trip with Lifecycles Travel. Chris and Alice put together a wonderful itinerary, a great balance of serious cycling, extraordinary locations and food and wine. A great bunch of people, a memorable trip!

After completing my second riding trip up in Byron Bay (from London) with Lifecycles, I can say it's some of the best riding I have ever done. Chris and Alice are fantastic guides, leading out a number of memorable rides to some really special spots I won't be forgetting. The kit, the bikes, and the equipment I hired were all faultless, which took the stress out of lugging a bike on the plane - I turned up, we did some amazing riding, and I jetted off - So simple! I would thoroughly recommend Lifecycles to all - Cheers guys

A group of friends and I did the Cycle Tour with Lunch, which ended up being an absolutely fantastic time. I'd call us quite novice cyclists and Alice and Chris quickly had us feeling very comfortable on the road, especially with the gears...Little Left...into BIG RIGHT!!! Thats was a lot of fun. We had coffee at a brilliant coffee shop as our first stop and then ended with a lovely breakfast at the Farm in Byron! Would definitely / and have definitely already recommended this to friends and family when they are in Byron. Thanks again Chris and Alice!!!!

Great ride with very nice Alice and Chris out of Clunes, 30 mins drive from Byron. Quality Trek bikes in superb condition supplied. They will provide riding advice plus design your ride in terms of speed and length so suitable for all levels of cyclist from beginners to expert. Pretty country roads thorough farms, orchards and forests with very little traffic. Ideal way to enjoy the pretty hinterland while getting some exercise. Good value given what is supplied. Have booked and looking forward to more rides. If not clear from above: highly recommended!

The boys down at Lifecycles provide top tier customer service. I will continue to take my bikes here for servicing and parts. Definitely the best bike shop in town. Highly recommended.

Thanks to Chris and the Lifecycles team for an incredible guided bike ride (a birthday gift from my wife)! Chris is an excellent guide and tailors every aspect of the ride to your skill and fitness level, so you're sure to have a great time exploring the back roads of Byron. The bike (provided as part of the tour) was a beaut to ride and Chris was sure to prep me with enough nutritional snacks to ensure I had plenty of gas in the tank. Chris is a great communicator during the ride and his signals and nice and clear, helping you safely navigate past hazards along the way. This is a great local company with a deep love and passion for cycling. Loved every second of the ride - thank you!

Great location! I rented a road/gravel bike that was in top shape and had a lovely chat with the staff who were very helpful in every way. Will definitely come back!

Hired a Gravel bike from these guys (Trek Checkpoint) and they were amazing. Went the extra mile to ensure I had the bike when I needed it and also gave me a few routes to explore.

Unfortunately I had a crash on my second day and broke my collarbone but again they were amazing, picking the bike up and seemed more worried about me than anything else (I know this is how it should be but still, it's a measure of how they behave).

Will return again and will deffo hire another bike from these guys - I have unfinished business with some of the trails up there!

What a great morning on our Tour de Byron :) through the beautiful Hinterland. Expertly led by Chris and enthusiastically supported by Alice...a great team. There were nine of us from teenagers to adults in their 50s and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Strongly recommend this unique experience cycling through the picturesque Byron Hinterland.

Both Chris and Alice were very helpful in briefing me prior to our cycle, explaining how to use the E-bike brakes and getting familiar with the feel of the bike and helped to make me feel both confident and safe while out on the open roads.

The best bike store in Byron, these folks know what they are doing. Have a great product range and offer friendly and knowledge service for all your bike needs. This is for Kids bikes, Road bikes, Gravel and mountain bikes.

Great service from Chris, really easy to deal with and delivery/drop-off worked well. We hired a couple of e-bikes which was a great way to see Byron. The bikes were well presented and had more than enough power for the day's ride including getting us up the hill to the lighthouse.

Fantastic experience! We hired three e-bikes and Chris delivered them within 30 minutes. They were well-maintained and super speedy bikes with baskets, locks and helmets included. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris. The bikes have lights so we ride them at night too. Great way to get around and such a fun 48 hrs!

We had a wonderful experience with Lifecycles Travel. Chris and Connor were very friendly and helpful in teaching us skills to be safe and confident in riding on the road. Chris is an amazing teacher and taught us the basics of riding properly step by step. We went from not cycling in a couple of years to a 20km guided road ride. Watching the beautiful scenery by the coast and through the hinterland was really special. Chris and Connor were lovely to chat to and have coffee with after our rides. They are not only passionate about cycling but also the Byron Bay area and we appreciated the care they took in helping teach people like ourselves trying to get into cycling. Hope to be back one day and will recommend them to our friends.

Alice & Chris are both super relaxed yet professional.
We booked the 2 day couples ride and had a great time exploring the Byron Bay Hinterland. They took us on safe & scenic roads with some challenging climbs.
They also have great local knowledge of coffee stops, cafes and restaurants.
