Incredible experience, best activity to do in Byron Bay! From the very start, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The 4am start was absolutely worth it with the most beautiful views of Byron and surrounding areas. The pilot Emi was funny and very informative throughout the flight, I felt safe and had such a great time. If that wasn’t already enough, after the spectacular flight, we had such a nice breakfast as a group at the farm.

Such a truly epic way to experience the gorgeous hinterland of Byron area. Gorgeous sunrise, incredible experience and genuinely friendly staff — even at 4am! To top it off breakfast and explore at The Farm was a lovely way to begin the day. The early wake up is worth it — highly recommended!

What a better way to see NSW and experience the country side then up in a hot air balloon. The team from Balloon aloft did a great job organising everything from letting us know what to do when landing to organising breakfast at the Byron bay farm house.

The perfect morning - full moon setting over Mullumbimby hills as the sun rose Balloon Aloft staff gracious efficient and inclusive For no steering wheel the two balloons negotiated altitude and the slight wind variations to descend near The Farm where we had breakfast . This company have been fantastic. Tickets originally had a 12 month validity period, which they kindly extended several times. The weather worked against us repeatedly and combined with living in Brisbane, covid, etc, it was numerous attempts before final success. And what a success. Fantastic day, brilliant crew, and wonderful flight. All the staff I have dealt with have been excellent, efficient and helpful. The flight was so much fun, it was worth all the dramas. Thanks to all at Balloon Aloft.

This was a real special event with my 7 yr old daughter and elderly mother together for her first flight. Your team went above and beyond to accommodate their needs and make everyone feel safe. Seamless takeoff and landing, incredible views of the Northern Rivers Hinterland and coastline, our pilot gave detailed information on the landscape which was a real treat. I have a new appreciation for the Byron Bay area after this experience and we are already looking forward to our next flight with you.

Our experience could not take place due to bad weather but the team handled the situation very professionally, offering rescheduling and refunding options in a clear way. We will certainly re-use this company in the future, with hopefully better weather. Highly recommend!

The whole team were amazing. Emi was our pilot and gave us an awesome experience. Love the shots they shared with us from the onboard camera and breakfast which was included. Recommend you don't wear warm clothing because the jets from the hot air balloon keep you nice an warm.

Incredible experience! 🙌🏽 The team were extremely professional & made it a seamless morning from the get go. We met around 5am at The Farm this morning before driving to the launch site in Mullumbimby which we watched the balloon inflate before jumping in and heading for the sky. 🎈
Our pilot had 15 years experience and nailed the take off, the landing & the jokes.
After packing down the balloon we went back to Three Blue Ducks for breakfast & Coffee which was delicious.

Such an incredible experience. The day was perfect and ran smoothly from start to finish. Thomas and the crew were fantastic and made the experience even more amazing for everyone. The scenes were unreal and the breakfast afterwards was just the icing on the cake.

Would highly recommend this to anyone coming to Byron Bay who's looking to so something a little different. It was magical.

Balloon Aloft Byron Bay – Magical

My two young children, ages 7 and 10, and I had a wonderful, magical experience ballooning with Balloon Aloft Byron Bay. The pilot and ground crew were friendly, helpful and professional throughout the entire journey from booking the day, expertly guiding our balloon through the air to a cordial breakfast to complete the experience.

We started the day very early (4am) to the smell of baking bread at their meeting place, The Farm in Byron Bay. It’s a lovely location with ample parking, covered space to await the next step in the journey and facilities if required.

Still half asleep we boarded the small bus to the balloon launch site, where we got to watch and help with the set-up of the balloon, which was awesome.

Then it was lift off… over-looking Australia’s most easterly point, as the sun was rising up out of the ocean. You couldn’t ask for a better way to start the day! The flight was peaceful and majestic with views out over the ocean and the Byron Bay hinterland. Our pilot Emi provided just the right amount of information and commentary to make the trip interesting and allow for quiet meditation in the moment.

We landed softly in a paddock to an awaiting ground crew. It was a communal effort to repack the very large balloon, not unlike repacking a tent. This process was quick and smooth and then we were back en route to The Farm for a delicious breakfast.

We had THE BEST TIME on our hot air balloon experience 😊 The staff are super friendly and the pilots very experienced. They make you feel very comfortable and relaxed about the whole experience. Once you’re up in the air it’s very calm and peaceful and the views are spectacular. Highly recommend as an anniversary or birthday present or just a fun experience all together! The breakfast at Byron Farm is a great touch :) Thanks to the crew Taylor and Emilio for such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Balloon Aloft Byron Bay is a once (or more!) in a life-time experience. Floating high above the Northern Rivers region is the best way to see and experience the stunning landscape below. The staff are the best: highly experienced, friendly and knowledgeable. It's a must-do when you're in Byron Bay. Tricia

An outstanding experience from the minute we arrived and received a huge smiling welcome. Staff were outstanding, informative and organized. We had a basket with 8 people and it felt personal and plenty big enough for us to move around and have 360 degree views. Take off and landing was uneventful. I could not believe how easy it was. To finish it off with a lovely breakfast was an added bonus. Thank you everyone.

What amazing morning. I actually ticked something off my bucket list this morning without even having it on my list. All I can say is that if you haven't done ballooning or are doubtful to just do it! The crew was so good, so comforting and funny. The breakfast at the farm was yummy. Just do it, book it!
