The Good Guys Moorabbin

This was our first time visit to this store after having lunch at the nearby Fish House and shopping at Kitchen Warehouse. We didn't intend to purchase anything but just wanted to browse to see what they had. However, they did have a Vanguard DSLR Value Pack including the Veo Discover 22 compact shoulder bag and the Vanguard 203 AP Tripod for $99 that took my fancy. I just wasn't sure about the bag as I didn't have my camera with me, but it did look good so I'll need to return one day soon.

This store certainly has a good range of products and the prices seem quite reasonable. The range of coffee machines and accessories is quite good and I thought that 2KG of free coffee beans with your purchase of an automatic coffee machine was very creative marketing. The consumer electronics section including computers, printers, phones and TVs is particularly extensive so is the whitegoods section. Given their 'PAY LESS Every day!' slogan, perhaps it's worth doing you homework and giving them a try.

Even though we didn't purchase anything, we found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Also, unlike so many other similar places, there's plenty of off-street parking at this store. I hope to return soon to check out that camera bag and tripod pack.

We went back on Black Friday and as well as a new Breville Kettle, I purchased that Vanguard camera bag and tripod pack for $90 :-)

At the store in November 2023, when I inquired about a speaker, he recognized my name and my voice. Both of us were able to put names to faces.

I appreciate Taqi's passion, sincerity, and his dedication towards his career and his clients.

Bosch 8kg Front Loading Washing Machine.
I was very hesitant about buying such an item sight unseen but my old machine had died so I had no choice. I went online to search prices for this machine. Good Guys came up with the best comparative online price. I ordered it for next day delivery. Within 1 hour of purchase I received a phone call confirming the order and delivery address. On the day, the delivery guys phoned to say that they were on their way. They were extremely professional, courteous and most helpful. They had the new machine connected and the old machine removed in no time.
I love the machine and would highly recommend their services.

I got served by Marie and she's an absolute legend. Quite possibly the best customer service I've received in a very long time. Could not recommend this place more

Thank you so much to Brenton at Moorabbin who went above and beyond to rectify a problem that I had when I bought a DVD recorder and received the wrong one. He was quick to sort out the problem and replaced it with the new unit. Then when I found that it did not have one of the leads he supplied one straight away. Great customer service and such a lovely guy who was only too happy to help - thanks Brenton - will highly recommend you to others in the future.

We recently purchased a number of new appliances at the Good Guys in person and on the phone. All of their staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and gave us good discounts for buying in bulk. We originally went to Winning Appliances but the customer service was so bad we switched to the Good Guys and we’ll be sticking with them in future. Highly recommend them.

Bought my TV and various other appliances from the good guys in moorabin.
Callum and Justin are probably the most decent blokes you can find there. They go beyond the minimum curtesy and try to give you the best price you can get.
For eg. I purchased a fridge that arrived with a dent in it. Not only did they replace the fridge although I reported it to them 10 days later. They also restarted my gold conceirge from the date the new fridge was delivered.
Another eg. TV remote stopped working properly after 6 months and the manufacturer only has a 6 month warranty on the remote. So they spoke to the manufacturer and gave me a new remote.
I am so happy with the good guys Moorabin, I would do a purchase from them even if I lived on the other side of town.

I would like to thank the lovely John who served us. He was so passionate, knowledgeable, friendly and directed us to the perfect washing machine and dryer combination.
I would highly recommend The Good Guys Moorabbin and their team but in particular John.

I purchased the wrong iPhone in November for my wife for Christmas. I took it back In January and explained my dilemma. They couldn’t have been more helpful, absolute considerate of my error and ensured I was able to obtain the correct model. I have been shopping at this outlet for many years and have always had good service.

Amazing customer service.
I was coming to click and collect and I was a little late - 5 minutes after close.
Elise was so nice and understanding on the phone and did not sound even remotely annoyed. She really made me have a positive experience with the Good Guys. She deserves some sort of reward. Also there was a really nice storeman that came out to give me my parcel with a smile on his face even though I was late - Darker South East Asian male - absolute champion - sorry I didnt get his name or I would say he had excellent customer service also.

Had a faulty washing and brought it back at 5:30 on a Friday afternoon. The manager Anthony couldn’t have been more helpful, went above and beyond to make sure the issue was solved. Couldn’t be happier with the service we received here by Anthony and the others. Thank you guys :)

Had a defective unit (which happens every now and then) and while the manufacturer service desk was not doing their best to help me out for more than 2 weeks, Leo just organised a swap for a day.

GOOD OLD FASHIONED SERVICE IS NEVER OUT OF FASHION. The staff in this store are really superb. Last year, I bought a $4,000 Tv and it had a small scratch on the stand when I inboxed it. One of the staff went out of her way to contact the Sony rep over the holiday period to ensure I got a replacement ASAP. I will now go there for all of my appliance needs from now on!
ADDITIONAL ENTRY DEC 018: And since my above review, I’ve just received fantastic service on a vacuum cleaner warranty issue from a young lady named Rebecca - within a day, she had called Dyson, organised a replacement claim & registration with them, organised them to send me the part directly and then called me with the news of the full solution. How often does anyone expect or receive service like that?!
So, again I have to reiterate my opening line above about the priceless value to a brand of ‘old fashioned service’!!

Suppose to delivery on the promised day and time. Managed my time to wait for the delivery. Received a message saying arrive in 6 minutes, on its way. Then after 10minutes, another message saying could not delivery today, need to reschedule. Then call the service number, rescheduled, delivered in 10 minutes. Professional and good service!
