Anaconda Highett

A larger Anaconda store that has a larger selection onsite.
It's located in a group of shops in off Nepean highway next to a KFC Store that includes an Officeworks Store which means you can compete for car parking. Not one of the larger stores and quite often when you order a item like a larger sized coat it has to be ordered in from another store. Has a disabled parking area and disabled access to the store. I use this store and its online store quite frequently for outdoor camping equipment or Bar Bq supplies. The staff have a good idea of whats in stock and what aisles its located in.

Walked in to a “good morning” from Nicholas which was so friendly - especially for early Sunday! He then proceeded to assist me with some Brumate products. Explained all the features and benefits of the brand and I walked out with best product! Great brand ambassador!

Huge Camping and Hiking Store - really big range.
The week day staff seem to be the fulltimers, they know their stuff - they were welcoming and greeted us upon entry, however the weekend staff all seemed pretty young and mostly useless.

I've shopped around and asked around for what the best camping (non-hiking gear) store is in Melbourne - Anaconda is definitely number 1 or equal to it.

Really big range of tents instore, with display, then the durable canvas ones are outside and set up. I got one from out there and I'm so stoked with it.
Was $799 but we got it on sale price for $455.

Signed up to the Anaconda club and got a further $10 off.

Really happy and the staff shared out enthusiasm, which was fun!

Will be going back for many years to come.

My son Jayden (14yr) is into fishing. He decided to spend his Xmas money on a new fishing rod and reel. He thought he knew what he wanted but is relatively inexperienced, so we walked into Anaconda and asked for advice. Alex was working that particular day and spent at least 30min explaining all the ins and outs of rods and reels, different price point., general fishing advice, etc. It was fabulous to see the knowledge but also the time that was taken to educate my son. The next day we went back, and Dan was working, he was just as knowledgeable and enthusiastic. You can tell it's a great place to work.

This is a huge shout out to Alex for helping me through a Mother’s Day exchange, he was able to find the appropriate size and lookup the receipt of purchase all while I was driving to the store. It was all waiting for me on my arrival which was very close to closing time. What fabulous service!! Definitely 5 stars. Thanks again Alex!! 👍👍

Not sure what 1 star Rafael is on about. He certainly doesn't understand business, rent, premises insurance and employee wages. Ignore his 1 star. This is a 1st class business with fantastic stock and hard-working employees. My thanks to Sarah for her assistance and feet on the ground 1st class customer service and care. Rafael, you need a lesson in business, clearly a Gen Y entitlement person, just stick to food reviews. Real shoppers should just Ignore that review as it isn't helpful and just about him wanting something for nothing.

Got great Help from Alex in there, he helped me fix my rod I had previously bought in there and took his time to show me how to properly set it up and had great knowledge of his job.

So convenient. On my way home. Enough parking friendly staff. Online shopping click and collect how sweet. We are so spoiled with choice. Great products at Anaconda. Always my first shop searching for a outdoor product.

Went to check out and salesman Alex P saw that me and my son clearly knew nothing about fishing. He patiently taught and explained to us what we needed. Received an entire fishing education with care and patience. Thank you so much Alex. You converted a complete stranger into a friend and a fan!

I went to Anaconda Highett recently and upon arrival I was blown away by the excellent customer service provided by the entire team! Sarah spent ample time to make sure I had everything I needed for a future holiday as well as providing excellent well informed suggestions for things I had not even considered that ended up making the whole trip! Sarah and the team made it a great welcoming experience and I will definitely come back for any future outdoor equipment.

Last Friday I went to Anaconda store in Highett. I consider Anaconda one of the best places to buy outdoor activity gear.
In the store I was assisted by Alex who was really friendly and gave me lots of professional advice and provided a very detailed information about the items I was after. It was particularly interesting to learn more about fishing gear and all related stuff, Alex is a natural expert in that. I bought what I wanted and was offered a massive discount which I was extremely happy about. I am very glad I met Alex on that day and I enjoyed my shopping at Anaconda.

Corey is the man to see, my brother and I are on holidays and weren't sure how to set up our fishing rigs, we don't usually fish. Corey was excellent, he took time to teach my brother and I exactly what sort of rig we should set up- and where we should fish and even what specific type of bait to use in specific areas. From spear fishing to catching small fish this kid knows his stuff. Thanks Corey for contributing to an already wonderful holiday, thanks Anaconda.

I headed to Anaconda Highett today for some complicated swap/refund enquires. Shout out to Nicholas who served me over the counter. Nicholas was extremely friendly and very patient with my questions. He carefully went through my enquires and I left the store happily with all my issues sorted. Thumbs up!!!👍👍👍👍

Usual Anaconda store. Wide variety. Have to say though, that the staff I've dealt with have been very helpful with advice and service each time I go there.

Great service received in store today. Needed advice on a range of items and I was able to purchase exactly what I needed.

Couldn't fault this store, it has everything. The sales assistant Jenny was very helpful and her knowledge of the products was fantastic. Definitely my go to store now!!

Was well looked after today by manager Glenn, who quickly and professionally solved my problem. Has a nice sense of humor, esp given it's Black Friday (frantic) weekend right now! First class performance, thanks, Glenn!

Bought two kayaks today. That's not special. What was special was the service.

Three young men in total helped us. All were remarkably polite, quick to help and nothing was trouble. They even helped, without being asked, to put the kayaks on the roof of the car.

This level is service is what makes shopping not just bearable but actually enjoyable. Especially at this time of the year when people are tired and short tempered.

Great store, favorite of all so far! Love the staff, to the blonde Aussie girl that helped me, she needs to be promoted. Fantastic attitude, very very informative, and coming from a salesman, she knows how to sell. I'll be back.
