My photos show 2 ways if going to ALDI Prahran: 1) Elizabeth Street; 2) Market Street.

This ALDI has a rich stock. There are discounted products for clearance. There is self serve checkout.

The prices are low probably because there are 2 other major supermarkets nearby. Total competition in a free market brings benefits to customers as an economic principle.

Good assortment of products, everything in stock, friendly. There’s a car park with plenty of spaces if you go when Prahran market isn’t too busy - plus 1 hour free parking if you spend over $30.

Recommend the Southern Style Chicken Portions - a hit at a gathering I attended (cooked onsite using oven).

You often discover items you didn't realize you needed until you stumble upon them in the center aisle at Aldi. This supermarket chain has revolutionized the shopping experience in Australia by exerting essential price pressure on other major players in the market. Plus, their chocolate is absolutely delightful!

2022: Has gone through a 2022 overhaul, with the addition to self checkout and user friendly layout.
Identical to the store in the CBD.

Not as bigger selection of products as in Germany but nevertheless a great representation of European choices and good prices. Recommend it.

Pretty decent Aldi, can't go wrong with the selection at this Aldi but do be aware that certain items will go out of stock quickly.

Great store. Not sure why they have changed opening hours to open later at 08:30am.

You never know what you need until you see it in the centre aisle. Aldi have changed shopping in Australia and put much needed price pressure on the other big players. The chocolate is awesome

Only 2 old style registers..mostly serve yourself..big store ,great variety...also 1 hour parking across road free,for purchases over 30 dollars only...

This ALDI is super close to my gym which makes it super convenient and worthy of a visit every other day. Always well stocked and extra well priced. ALDI is undoubtedly one of the best supermarkets in Australia

I just wish I lived a bit closer and can make this my regular shop.
The staff are always polite and friendly, it's a good and clean supermarket unlike some of the grubby self service registers at other supermarkets.
Someone commented about a beer chiller - I never saw that, but if there is one I'm sure that would complete this as the best supermarket in town. Bring on the special buys!

Aldi appears to be better supplied than their competition. Prices too do not seem as high as Woolworths' and Coles' in the current period of rising inflation. The real benefit is that one is less likely to come upon LNP voters or Politicians. Aldi has a carefully calibrated supply chain and appears not to be using the current economic challenges as an excuse to raise prices. I bought a steak for $6 as opposed to the Coles version for $9.

Easiest and best laid out Aldi around, next door to the market and car park is free if you spend over $30 and have your parking ticket stamped.

Got to love Aldi - I picked up a security camera and some stuff. The products are great, they try to use local produce and meat. They use RSPO Palm Oil (even thought that's proven to be a lie) and they open a new checkout as soon as it looks busy.
