The Good Grocer 2nd Ave IGA

I love coming here! Even for just one item!! The food, ready-made meals, fruit and vegetables, produce, breads and cakes are always fresh to look at!! Presentation is everything " you buy with your eyes" one of my to go places for fresh everything ✨

I would have to say that this IGA (Cnr 2nd Ave & Beaufort st) has to be one of the best IGA stores I have personally visited/shopped at. Although you are paying higher prices than the main supermarkets, you can almost always guarantee that the quality of the products at this IGA store is exceptional, and if not exceptional, then extremely good and fresh.
They have a huge variety of fruit/veg, meats, dairy, freezer, bakery sections and more.
The selection of fresh cakes are” to die for”, and they have almost any type of breads/loaves you can think of. They have a cold cut meat sections, coffee/ drinks section including a coffee machine to make yourself a coffee for just $2.00. They also have pies, sausage rolls, pasties, variety of fresh salads and also roast dinners, whether lamb, chicken, beef with all the vegetable and gravy if you wish.
They have beautiful fresh flowers, and the staff regardless are always so very friendly and helpful.
There is parking right outside the store as it is within the 2nd Avenue Plaza Centre, or undercover/underground parking.
Well done to this IGA.

Walked into this store almost in tears during a really rough day, and walked out smiling after meeting Quinn (not sure if I’ve slept his name correctly) at the checkout. An absolutely delightful young man … thanks for the chat and excellent customer service, Quinn.

It's clean and so many food's selection and fruit and veggies are fresh you pay a little bit more of the prize but it's worth.
Sunday it's easy to pick up ready Cook roast meal .

Pricey but very convenient and some amazing products!

I love everything here, the flowers, freshly made flour tortillas, cakes, hot foods, etc. it’s more expensive than any other IGA but I’m happy to pay the price

I loved the lady at the counter, she made me feel like I was part of the staff. Afterwards there was a joke made about Prince Harry and Meghan - which I guess as I’m writing this, I realise you had to be there… But thank you lady at the counter. Thank you for the memories. 💜

Great 24/7 place. The only thing with IGA is the prices. But then the produce is fresh and the other big factor is availability. Apart from Spudshed, you won't find any other supermarket which is 24/7

Is it posible to request the bucher to slice this beauty a bit thiner as another option? Thick bite is enjoyable but also don't mind thinner slices :) I usually got them from IGA Leedervile, they have both thick and thinner slices which is teeth-friendly😄 Cheers

Wish I lived in Mt Lawley just for this place. Terrific range of healthy food items, especially for someone with special dietary needs. The displays of produce are the best I've ever seen and they even had my favorite brand of GF bread in stock. I was also able to grab a delicious beetroot salad for lunch. Lovely and clean and tidy store. Will be re-visiting whenever I am in the area.

Best IGA ever! Hats off for the florist, she is the best! Very knowledgeable and thoughtful on making arrangements when requested! All at a great value.

Note for the bakery, meals and sweets! All delicious.

My local IGA – I love that it's open 24 hour. I couldn't go back to living with no 24/7 access. The range is great and we do most of our main shopping here. Staff are friendly and helpful. I just wish there were more sales! I always seem attend when there are no sales tags about.

I love this IGA and wish I lived closer. I have to drive 50kms to get here, but I dont mind as it is outstanding with food choice. I'm always amazed with how beautiful the store is. Treat yourself at Christmas and have a look, their decorations are gorgeous and I love their quirky little gift tables where you can find something a little different. A quality store that is a bit more expensive from other grocery stores. But as I mentioned.....Quality.
You get what you pay for and I always like the best, so I have no problem with their prices.
