Weigh 'n Pay

This a weekly shop for me and my household! Nuts, grains and seeds. Just about every spice and herb you can think of. So much cheaper than buying it at Woolies and Coles and no nasty packaging!
I have just started to use their cleaning supplies as well. And $1.75 for 200ml of all natural shampoo. Love, love, love this place ❤❤❤

OMG what a fabulous Find. Stumbled upon this place in search of marzipan for a traditional Xmas cake. I WILL NEVER BUY MARZIPAN FROM A SUPERMARKET. amazing product that lifted my old school cake to another level. Please don’t stop making this ever. I have a layman’s reputation to keep 😂 also purchased maraschino cherries. Snowballs have never been so special. Yes, I’m a Karen but do yourself a favour and shop here. The staff are super helpful, the produce is amazing and no, you don’t need to talk to the manager

18th Jan 2024 update- Still a fantastic place to go to! And fun too. My toddler randomly asked to buy some popped sorghum, because it looked like mini popcorn. I was like yeah sure, let’s get some, but it probably won’t taste how you think it would (laughing to myself). We also went to the cookie decorating session that they were running, thanks for running these things for us parents :)
PS- after initial shock that it wasn’t just mini popcorn, turns out the popped sorghum was a hit. Lol!
My old review from ~4 years ago (2019?): Just visited this store for the first time and my initial reaction was WOW. Second and third reactions were also WOW. And yay for finding a more local place for my spices (and everything else it seems like..!). I brought along a whole bunch of empty spice jars which they weighed and then I filled, so easy. The staff are all super lovely too. Looking forward to my next visit already :)

I have been a loyal customer of weigh n pay for…20 years or more and it has only improved over the years. They stock a huge range of products and friendly staff with great knowledge of them all makes it easy to shop and find what you need. Looking forward to the next 20 years!

Always great service and helpful staff. Choc raspberries are a fav. Hubby loves fruit cake mixes up to 7 for this year!

The Woodvale Weigh 'n' Pay is a fantastic store! Sustainable living is a big priority for me and I love that I can support this local business while reducing my environmental footprint. I bring my own reusable containers and I feel like I'm making a positive difference every time I shop there. It's wonderful that I can buy loose rolled oats that come from Wagin!

The helpful, friendly staff make each visit to Weigh and Pay a pleasurable outing. Refilling my own containers means I will get the right amount of each ingredient for how I cook, not a package size determined by the manufacturer. When I come home the jars go straight back onto the pantry shelf. No need to repackage, no wastage. And as jars are emptied, they go straight into the shopping bag hanging in the pantry, ready to go again, shopping list decided by what jars are in the bag.

I love Weigh 'n Pay! The selection of items is amazing and ever expanding, staff are incredibly knowledgeable and ever so happy to help. I have been shopping there for years but recently had to switch to a gluten free diet and saw they stock a GF flour blend that I had taken an interest in. So I emailed with a few questions and the answers I received went way beyond what I had actually asked and were tremendously helpful. While in store I stumbled across maca powder, which I had heard about - asked staff about what that would taste like and how to use it and again was so pleasantly surprised by the amount of knowledge but also the time they took to explain and elaborate. I love how environmental I can shop with my own containers, that they stock such a vast variety catering for all sorts of dietary needs and wellness and the family/community feel while in store. There is so much packed into this little store, it's a real treasure trove. Lots of options for specific diets, and all sorts of cake baking goodies. I really appreciate the ability to reduce my waste by bringing my own containers for most items.

I love this place. I get all my pantry goods here, including ingredients to make my own cleaning and beauty products. Being able to save on waste by taking my own containers is an added bonus.

Craig is an absolute great help whenever I’ve gone to the store.. even going so far as to offer a replacement Evereco lid from his floor stock when the lid wasn’t in stock. Great collection of everything you could need!

Love coming to weigh and pay to top up my household essentials. The team are always friendly, helpful and the range is impressive. Love the bulk cake and biscuit mixes too!

The ONLY place I can get the mixed seeds I use in my muesli! Friendly, helpful staff and doing my bit for the environment - what more could you want?

Lovely shop and people, everytime I've been here they have been nothing but welcoming, friendly and helpful. Wouldn't go to any other bulk food store, the selection is the best and most thought out I've seen, for any need (vegan personally)

This store stocks everything, including organic & great recycling structure. 1st time shopping ladies were more then happy to explain how it works and offered recipes for their slice and cake mixes. I ended up buying a full shopping basket full unexpectedly and the lady provided a "boomerang bag" to carry it all with 👌

Awesome shop for finding a lot of different flavours and ingredients, super friendly service as well. Always recommend this place to friends when they need bulk foods.
