The staff are always super friendly here and always really quick to serve customers. You may think because it is such a small store it wouldn't have much but every bit of space is stuffed full and you can totally do a full shop here! Keep up and amazing work guys!

Jay and his team are lovely at Green Square IGA! There is a feeling of community within the store that you experience when you walk in. The staff go the extra mile for you as a customer and are always helpful. Also, a shout out to the friendly and bubbly Teneal, who always makes coming in for a grocery shop a fun catchup! Cheers team, you got us through lockdown!

These guys are really good, their liquor dept has much better prices than BWS and their staff also actually care

To whom it may concern,

My name is Aiden, went into IGA Green Square on Victoria Street on Wednesday 15th Dec, 2021 sometime in the evening to do my regular grocery shopping, as this is my local supermarket store close to where I live!

Majority of my visits to this IGA store, the staff have been exceptionally polite & helpful!

I was shocked to witness an encounter of a staff member being physically abused and punched in the face, whilst at the same time being ganged upon by 3 bystanders within the store, in what I overheard had stolen products!

I felt very concerned for the individual staff member who was receiving constant physical and verbal abuse (quite violent), in trying to reprimand these 3 customers, to retrieve back what was stolen!

I wished I could of helped this staff member in some way, but to no avail!

I am writing this review to emphasise the safety & we'll keep of all staff members and customers for future sake, that measurements must be put in place for all staff & customers of safety precautions & well being such as...

1) Have security guard on duty whom are trained to handle such incidents, and not by staff members to place their lives in danger!
2) On going training for all staff members of how to handle difficult customers!
3) Should any staff member be involved in such incidents (similar to the one I witnessed), to put staff members through a EAP - Employment Assistance Program!

There is no excuse for any organisation, not to have such measurements (as above), in place, for the safety of all staff members and all customers, should similar incidents take place in the future!

As I've mention, I've been served & greeted well by staff members majority of my visits, but to have witnessed such a disturbance of such friendly staff members being violently abused has instilled a sense of fear not only for them, but for myself as a customer, for the protection of all customers to shop in a safe, friendly, happy environment!

I do hope this individual staff member who was abused physically is ok from this trauma incident, & also the trauma it has created within myself to have witnessed - as a loyal valued customer, that I wish to not feel frightened again for the protection & safety of all customers & staff members never to incounter similar incidents in the future, should the above measurements be implemented immediately!

The people that work there are super friendly and helpful. I always buy stuff that is on sale. Their selection is very good and fruits and veggies are always fresh.

Good prices, better than BWS

Use it every day to buy a newspaper and often to get grocery things I have run out of. Staff are very good and cheerful , I fully recommend this IGA.

Really friendly and efficient staff, great selection of fresh fruit and very, and small supermarket range of essential items. Plus good selection of alcohol.

I love this little IGA. Good range and awesome staff. I do wish they had some seafood and deli meats, but still good.
