Allwood Timber Supplies

A week before Christmas I ordered some 40x12mm treated pine which had to be picked up by them from the supplier in the northern suburbs. I was quite prepared to drive to Allwood in Welshpool to collect it but they delivered it to my home near Fremantle which meant I could get the job finished over the holiday break. I found the staff to be very knowledgeable, friendly and prepared to go out of their way to give excellent service. Oh, and their products are top quality and competitively priced.

Used Allwood a few times now for my jobs and haven’t had an issue. Decking always looks great using these guys. Wanted to give a thanks to Daniel who delivered my most recent job and helped me carry everything to the back of the house, appreciate your help!

Dropped off wood late afternoon to be cut and said there was no hurry and could be done whenever they had the chance.
Received a call first thing the following morning saying it was ready.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend.

Allwood were really good to deal with, even when I had some tricky questions.

I have visited Allwood 3 times and the first time I thought the amazing customer service was just good luck. I have now encountered 9 of the staff from the owner to the guys working in the warehouse and I have to say, the service and friendliness beats ANY business in WA!

I attended Allwood Timbers on a Saturday and was shown some stock of sleepers which I wished to purchase .
I then purchased these same sleepers about a week later and had them delivered on the Monday All was good except I helped unload the said sleepers but didn't notice that I had 2.4 m instead of the 3 m that I asked for.
I did make a phone call on the Saturday to rectify this and advise that there was no hurry about a week later I contacted the company again to see if there's any update and the lady there promptly investigated and delivered the the new sleepers the next day. It was a mistake on their end but with all the other stuff going on in the world of COVID land who cares? People make mistakes that's just life no harm done It was promptly rectified when requested without issue.
Still good service and product based on my experience.

I was able to purchase 6mm and 9mm marine ply sheeting from Allwood when other suppliers couldn't. Friendly team who helped put my materials on my trailer. Good drive through access.

They have a huge range of timber and are likely to be able to meet any requirement you have for timber for building and construction

Just want to say after unbelievably frustrating couple of days trying to source treated pine palings from Bunnings, being told that yes they had them in stock when actual fact they didn’t. Timber loaded in incorrect racks, told yes we have 54 but actually only had 4 etc etc.
A trip to Allwood in Welshpool my husband as returned with exactly what he wanted and at a very reasonable price. Thanks Allwood, he will happily return to your yard for future timber needs.

Murray went out of his way to help me with my purchase of replacement decking panels. I’m not a handyman by any means but I took the old boards in and he made sure I had exactly what I needed to complete the job, which turned out great. Thanks so much Murray!

Excellent service, very quick to answer emails, sent out sms when my plywood order was cut and ready to be picked up, and all cuts were spot on exactly as requested. Pricing was also very favourable. Highly recommended!

In organising timber for a project I'm working on, I gave ol' Scott quite the run around - despite this, nothing was too much trouble for him! Great old-fashioned service and most importantly, great quality timber!

Wow for a starting woodworker feeling very intimidated with going to a lumber supplier, Murray was super helpful and took me around to explain everything to me. Nothing was to hard to facilitate!
