In the middle of all the cafe and restaurants there is this gem. With many types of books, I also love the recommendation from the workers and also the wrapped mystery books. Can spend hours here. Cant wait to come back.

Went into Fremantle for dinner and was drawn into this wonderful book store - I knew I was going to find something special in there!

I have been looking for a particular cook book for many years (many!) after seeing and falling in love with it at a friends house. This particular book is out of print. The only piece of information I could find on it was a picture on a blog. It has not been for sale anywhere and I have searched alot and often.

After asking the staff member if there was a database she could search, there was not so she lead me to the cooking book section. I could not believe it when I spotted not one, but 2 copies on the shelf. I grabbed the one that was in better condition which cost me all of $14!
Its just a cook book, but it is so pretty and has the nicest papers throughout it. Im so happy to have found it.

I also adore the 'Blind Date with a Book' idea. They are wrapped so nicely. Also a nice touch were notes here and there in the shop about selected titles.

A lovely book store which I will visit each time I go to Fremantle.

Elizabeth’s is a beautiful second hand book shop. They have an incredible amount of books in so many categories. I was really impressed with the section about Military history and really recommend a visit.

You can also have a blind date with a book. A few key words describe the content and then you decide if you want to buy it. The blind date books are totally new.

I love returning to this place every week! They rotate the books placed on stands regularly so you're always seeing something new 😊

A good bookshop is a sign of a healthy town. I had the good fortune to be in Fremantle for work recently (1985 was the last time I was there) and stumbled across Elizabeth’s by chance. Along with buying a couple of interesting titles for myself, the lovely young lady (sorry for not remembering your name!) in the store was exceptionally helpful in picking a ‘Blind Date with a Book’ for my daughter which she absolutely loves. Thank you!

Lovely bookstore. Really liked their concept of having a "blind date with a book" where they give you broad characteristics of a book wrapped in brown paper, if you can't decide and just want something to read in general.

This landmark second hand bookshop has a huge collection of diverse titles and style. A great place to visit and explore books you always wanted to return to, as well as new-old surprises.

They also had some great music on their 'in store' sound system.. (When I was there, I heard "Are friends electric?" by Tubeway Army. Brilliant!)

Absolutely wonderful. Best book shop ever. Authors, books, information etc. All you could wish for.

Treasure trove of unique and rare books. I was shocked by the assortment. The books are a bit pricey but if you're after rare gems you'll find great books here. Staff were very kind and helpful.

I bought an old favourite of mine here the other week. I only paid $9 for it.
Turns out it was hand signed by the author, a first edition and had the menu attached from the release party.
It's worth over $700.

This small hidden gem is a secret library i am sure tucked away in between other shops. for the bookworm this place is a like stumbling upon treasure as far as the eye can see with wall to wall,high shelves of books. a distinctive place of character with friendly & helpful service.

Love the idea of buying a mystery book (blind date). Awesome idea and a great way to get a boom you may not normally choose. Also love the fact they are opener later on the weekend! Great vibes!

Great range of new and pre-loved books... Group started at shop near UWA and grown and grown and grown because they know books and what customers want... I would say however that sometimes the window display in one of the other Freo stores can be... Weird

Very nice bookshop with a great selection of books you wouldn't expect to find....I came across this huge bible that was printed in the 1700s, you could see it by the way it looked.. it was amazing....definitely pondering purchasing it but obviously, something that old would be very pricy. Almost a thousand bucks...but surely worth it for the word of God!

Easy to find the clearly marked sections of topics. So many books and great variety. Was promptly offered assistance by a very knowledgeable assistant who offered to call the warehouse for a book I was searching for. A very pleasant experience. A very well patronised bookstore. Recommend a visit.

If you love second hand books, or just books in general this is the place to go!!!!!! The employees are lovely and the vibes hit just right.
