Incredibly beautiful bookshop experience - thoughtfully curated collection of books, excellent little Marionette coffee, delicious cakes, open fire - a magical place in the Main Street of Taralga to whilst away the afternoon and leave with some great books, candles, prints and cards! A rare find!

Beautiful space, thoughtfully curated and with a great selection of books. The owners are so warm, welcoming and kind. It's excellent seeing passionate, generous and inspiring people doing great things in places they clearly care about a lot. Can't wait to come back to Taralga for a wine tasting!

A beautiful space to sit and enjoy with a coffee and cake (the almond and coconut cake was to die for!), or a delicious wine tasting. Richard and Atti are wonderful hosts, making you feel so welcome and at home. The Book Shop is filled with gorgeous books of old and new, and lovely homeware gifts. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!

Sophisticated interiors with a cosy feel about it, a must visit to this gorgeous coffee and wine bar in Taralga.

I had a delicious coffee in this ever so cosy bookshop and cafe. The owners are wonderful hosts taking the time to share their story and why they have selected the intriguing range of books they have on sale. I popped in for a coffee and came away with a birthday gift pack for my sister including a book, homewares and a great bottle of wine from the wine room next door. I’ll be back for another visit.

We had such a fantastic time dining at Thirty Six Orchard St for one of their Ramen nights. Richard and Attie have created a special and authentic place in the heart of Taralga. Well worth the visit!

What a fantastic spot. Elegantly decked out and a perfect place to spend a moment reading a book or the paper with a lovely cup of coffee…my only disappointment was I didn’t have time to sample some wines in the wine room.

Quirky place run by the owners of Brown Paper Winery. One side is a cafe and bookshop selling new and vintage books alongside good coffee (The Little Marionette) and nice hot chocolate (flaked chocolate on top). They offer wine tasting and hold functions in the stylish room next door. Monday night is Japanese restaurant night! The style factor is high and the owner has impeccable taste!
