Bummaroo Ford campground

Very easy access campground. Nice spots along the river.

Love stopping here when camping. Free, and quiet by the river. No reception too. Lovely.

No else was near me huge plus! Free so can't get better too

Great place. Some parts are not that level. There are fire rings with pot hangers and flat plates. Firewood is scarce but we found some. Some parts of the river were deep enough to swim. Kangaroos visited. There are possums overnight so put away your food in the car. Three drop toilets at this site. There are spiky bindy weedy plants that sting. No mobile reception. Tried fishing but didn't catch anything or feel anything.

Camped there for 2 nights. On the second night we had the entire place to ourselves (week night). The first night we happened to show up the same weekend as a biker rally so there was over a hundred bikers in the campsite. All of them were incredibly friendly and even invited us to share in their epic bonfire. Thanks SCUM and the Wobbly Boots for being so welcoming to a couple of cold backpackers.

Awesome camp-site made it after work from Sydney got in dark tho but camp-site seemed very good

Beautiful free camp ground with toilets and an awesome creek to swim in, plenty of space.

Excellent location for an overnight stop plenty of level areas to camp for the night and drop toilets
