Update: 7 months later I think this place has only gotten better. New sitting arrangements and warm food from The Local's kitchen. Beer selection remains incredibly awesome!

If you love beer, this is the place.
The choice is unbelievable, literally hundreds of the best beers around, plus 6 taps (excellent as well), where you can refill the huge 1.9lt bottle (sold there).
The place is extremely clean, very pleasant, and the owner is super competent and absolutely friendly.
I really loved this place and can't wait to go back!

Really cool spot with unique and interesting beers on tap. The guy at the bar was a legend and gave me heaps of time and info. The bar feels cute and intimate, there’s also decks in the corner so it has a chill vibe.

This place is actually off the hook.

I have to write a little bit here so you can actually get a feeling of what MilkHead is about. With no exaggeration, you'll be impressed if you want a short and sweet experience or a longer stop in. If you're like I am and get stuck with the selection of beers on the market, then you're in luck with genuine guys to help you out. Plus, it's not pretentious or ego-driven, even though the setting is beautiful and their beers are some of best in the world.

From a pricing perspective, they're on point for a niche/craft beer shop. The difference here is that you'll actually speak with someone who can find you new products you haven't tried that will suit your palette. It's like they've thought it all through, it was cool coming in for the first time. The value in that alone can't be understated.

The cans and selection are immaculately presented and their knowledge and passion is on point. If you're looking for beers to take round to someone's that will start conversations, these boys will look after you. It's a place I've recommended to friends and workmates already. Girls and guys, go check them out.

A great place to spend hours working through the the selection of beers from the many fridges or through the interesting beers on tap. Staff are friendly, welcoming and have incredible knowledge of their product. If you are a craft beer nut you will be right at home.

Top quality selection and staff who are helpful and friendly. Small seated area and 5-6 beers on tap, so you can come in for something off the keg or enjoy straight from the fridge. Definitely one of St Kilda's newest and valuable assets.
