A fruit and vegetable store. Good quality food, prepacked foods and pick singly off the racks. Competitive and reasonably priced. Located on the mall in Anglo Street, plenty of parking in the area and seating on the street. The business has added new fridgeraters near the entrance of the store, where fresh foods can be found. The stores prices are competitive and products pre prepared are reasonably priced.

I adore this grocery store because their pricing is unbeatable, particularly in light of inflation everywhere else.

I was able to get enough fruit and vegetables for my family of two, for two weeks for a total of $30; if I were to shop elsewhere, I'd be looking at a minimum of $70.00, and that's assuming things are on sale.

The vegetables are not woolies/Coles-perfect, but they are still excellent.

Also, I would recommend being tactful during peak hours, as it is comparable to going to war with other customers.

Grandmothers have no qualms about pushing past you for that head of lettuce. Think Paddies or Flemington market level (you have been warned).

I recommend going on a weekday morning while they are just opening (if you can). It's a lot less complicated and strenuous.

Lastly, about the reviews that claim the service is awful, please keep in mind that English is not the staff's first language, and they are attempting to get through the day like everyone else.

It is difficult to perform a person-facing profession and communicate with dozens of people from diverse backgrounds daily when you have language barriers.

So let's try to demonstrate some courtesy and politeness.

LOVE this shop. So cheap and great service. It's my go-to for fruit and veg.

It is ok. Their recipts is always faded. You cannot read them. No matter how much you complain, they do not supply ink for the recipts. However, you can find fruits & vegies always more expensive than the Chinese stores in the area who do not have enough ventilación to keep the vegies fresh like this store. Too hard to buy anything. No longer vegies are affordable. Government likes to keep us hungry or sick to spend our money in buying medications instead of vegies.So sad. As a result many product are throw away in the bins because people on low income can't afford the expenses these days. We need revolution or strike to improve this serious situation.
