IGA Stonemans Village

I drove past several other Supermarkets on my way to do the weekly shop at the new IGA Stoneman’s Village Supermarket at 134 Condon street Kennington. On arrival I was impressed with the size of the store, it had large aisle-ways that made trolley movement simply a breeze. The choice on offer was excellent with fresh and packaged items as well as frozen. Modern display units, along with the excellent aisle signage, made shopping a breeze. I found the store to have all the stock I wanted in very logical locations. The staff I spoke to were eager to help and with a smile. They were not ducking for cover, or trying not to make eye contact like you find elsewhere. I found some super specials too which assisted with the budget. I took a moment to reflect on the name of Stoneman’s from the past and instantly thought of the good ol’ fashioned service we got back then. Well done to the team!!! A true showcase of a store. I am actually looking forward to returning next week or maybe sooner. 😀

I have given 3 stars, reason being, like to shop there. The deli is really well stocked and set out.
Prices a touch above the competition, but we'll set out and friendly, fresh fruit and vegetables etc, helpfull staff...... but, I purchased a stuffed rolled lamb, cooked and had for dinner, but well didn't have for dinner. It was nice of you to put some lamb with the stuffing, but it was so tough, fatty and sinewy I couldn't eat and had to throw it out.
Went back at Christmas, I pretty well always try again. I wanted a lamb shoulder, spoke to the butcher, bought out a 2.6 kg piece prepared, it the old fashioned way he said, good price and, I cooked for 12 and a half hrs to a recipe, it was beautiful!!Cheers

I loved the new supermarket I go there a lot there's a wide range of stuff in this iga that I can't find in any other igas thanks guys for your customer service and for Having all I need but also for making it disability friendly with plenty of space all around the supermarket for people to go in and out of not like everywhere else where it's narrow

The entry to the store is so open and inviting, with friendly staff on checkouts, you get the feeling of a store which is run by people who genuinely care!
This shop truly has the wow factor, spacious, modern and inviting. Everywhere you turn there is a product on offer than you cannot get at the chains. Will be in regularly, especially for a loaf of wild and tamed sourdough and to check out the great value specials.

Wow. Love this supermarket. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, clean and wide aisles. Really relaxing place to shop. My new supermarket - where they actually have people in checkouts who smile and talk and assist…. Just like we all want!!! Thankyou IGA. Keep doing what you do best.

I love going to IGA , most of veggies and fruits are from local farmers which is always fresh. The best about IGA is the deli counters, a variety of choices and taste delicious 😋.
